One can swim in the natural river pool on the doorstep of the house. There are fields beyond for hiking and walking where one can discover the old mills, ruins and churches. It's a wonderful, peaceful setting for your holidays. The space The space The old mill house is located at Mili gorge that stretches along the river bed where the ruins of the mills lie. The house is a historical stone building and was one of the mills of the old settlement. The highlight is a natural swimming pond at the foot of the steps of the house. Not only for the very brave who embrace cold water swimming in the winter months, but also for those of us who enjoy swimming in the summer. It's heaven and you'll never want to swim in a chlorinated pool again. The main house Entering the house on the ground floor there is the dining area with an authentic Cretan fireplace, passing through a beautiful arch on your right you will find the living area with folklore Cretan furniture and objects where you can enjoy your drink or dinner. On your right you will find one bedroom with two single beds. From the dining area, climbing the stairs you will find a spacious double bedroom opening to a nice private patio with panoramic views. From the patio you can enter the private bathroom of the bedroom. An outdoors staircase will take you to the level where the kitchen area is. A beautiful stone staircase leads you to the third double bedroom with its own private patio. From the kitchen level few steps away you can enjoy an outdoors dining area with a bbq space. Few more steps on the nature and you will find the highlight of the property, where the natural river pool lies. There is a wooden deck with a sitting area where you can enjoy the stunning view. LOCATION- USEFUL INFO ABOUT THE AREA AND SURROUNDINGS The area around - Myli is a gorge of exceptional natural beauty as it is green with lush vegetation. The existence of few ruined houses, watermills and small churches makes an impression. Water accompanies all the way. Wooden bridges lead over the water and small waterfalls end in two small lakes where one can enjoy the cold waters. The gorge hides surprises from the beginning to the end. The temperature along the river bed and among the many densely growing trees are also in midsummer pleasant, also you will meet many wooden benched and a few picnic areas on your way. There is a tavern 2 min walk from the house, another restored mill, where you enjoy your meal with stunning views of the nature.
