The Lake Harriet Bandshell has music & movies. Downtown Linden Hills is a few blocks away. Built-ins & leaded glass, comfortably furnished w/50" hdtv, w/Roku & YouTubeTV. Updated kitchen, comfortable beds & large bathroom. It has a screened-in porch w/string lights. A great spot to explore Minneapolis or hang out & relax! Walking distance to everything you need including fun! This main floor unit has all the old world charm but with the updated amenities you need to make your stay very comfortable. It has hardwood floors, built-in buffet, leaded glass and is furnished with a large comfy L shaped couch. It has an updated kitchen with appliances, including microwave, gas stove, dishwasher, toaster, coffeemaker and fridge. The kitchen is fully stocked. The 50" HD TV has Roku with YouTubeTV which has all the regular channels (NBC, ESPN, CNN, etc). Wifi is free and fast. There is a desk for work - hopefully it never gets used. ;) A formal dining with a dining table that seats six. Both queen beds are very comfortable with gel mattresses and have ample blankets and bedding supplies. The couch is not a pullout but is large and comfy. The bath has a tub & shower and has been totally renovated. Off street parking has never been an issue even in the summer. Usually people have been able to park right across the street from the unit. There is coin operated laundry in the basement. There is a screened in porch with comfy wicker seating to enjoy a nice cup of coffee in the morning or glass of wine in the evening while enjoying the beautiful view. The entire unit if yours - the only shared space is the basement coin-operated laundry and the yard. I am available via text anytime but I believe in giving my guests privacy. Linden Hills is one of the most popular neighborhoods in Minneapolis. Linden Hills is located near Lake Harriet and Lake Calhoun. The area has a laid back, artsy feel but also has upscale restaurants and shops. This is a perfect place to walk to either Lake Calhoun or Lake Harriet or downtown Linden Hills. There are also bike rentals a few blocks away - perfect for biking around the lakes and exploring Linden Hills. The grocery store is less than a mile away but I would recommend driving there. There are other guests in the building so please be respectful. Quiet time is from 10 p.m. - 8 a.m. It is also South Minneapolis and you will have occasional airplane noise.
