The accommodation is particularly family-friendly: In the spacious garden, hidden seating areas, a hanging chair by the small pond and a versatile playground with trampoline, rope slide and swings await small and large explorers. For motorcyclists and outdoor activists, practical parking spaces and a drying room are available. Use of the sauna is possible including towels and infusion oil; for this, a fee of €60 applies for a stay of 1–3 nights, €90 for 4–7 nights. The balcony with its comfortable garden furniture and the barbecue fireplace is the ideal place to enjoy the natural scenery. A hammock outside promises additional moments of relaxation in the fresh mountain air. From here you can start your hike on the famous Rennsteig. In winter, 70 km of groomed cross-country trails and various ski slopes nearby attract visitors. The UNESCO Vessertal Biosphere Reserve with its crystal clear streams is just as worth seeing as the Oberhof sports facilities, the Explorata Mitmachwelt, the Sea Aquarium and the Fritz Adventure Park, which can be reached in 10 minutes. The Krämerbrücke in Erfurt, the Wartburg in Eisenach and the Hainich Baumkronenpfad are within an hour's drive. An e-charging station is available for shared use.
