An art lover’s paradise – this stylish self-contained, self-catered two-bedroom flat is set within Thirsk Hall, a Grade II* listed Carr of York Georgian House. It is an ideal place for up to 4 guests to enjoy Thirsk and its surrounding area. Not only is the flat filled with art by some of Daisy & Bill’s favourite artists, but guests also have full access to the Sculpture Garden during their stay. The space The flat sleeps up to 4 guests per stay. Bedroom one has a fixed king-sized bed; and the second room can be configured into one super-king bed or a twin room layout. The large sitting room sits to the south and overlooks the Sculpture Garden. The well-equipped kitchen has a large dining table, and there is a family bathroom with a walk in shower. Guests have full access to the gardens and there's a dedicated seating area for them to enjoy the outdoor space in private; and are encouraged to use the fresh herbs from the Herb Garden and to handpick their own seasonal vegetables from the Kitchen Garden. The house itself is unique in its setting - to the north of the house and only a two-minute walk away you’ll find the market town of Thirsk; and to the south lies 20 acres of Sculpture Gardens. It's a stay you'll never forget! The flat is unable to welcome pets however it is important to note that Daisy and Bill have a very friendly dog, Stella. It is likely you will see her in the garden with Daisy and Bill during your stay. They also have a cat, Tommy. Thirsk is a fantastic culture hub in the North. Thirsk Hall opened a Sculpture Garden in May 2021 which is situated within the grounds. Other local attractions also include the Zillah Bell Gallery - this is our family run gallery which represents lots of local artists as well as has access to the largest Norman Ackroyd RA collection outside of his London Studio, Thirsk Museum, the World of James Herriot Museum, St Mary’s Church and the White Rose Book Shop. Guest access Please note that the flat is situated on the second floor and there are quite a few stairs within the flat so it might not be accessible for everyone. There is a gated car park for you to park up to two cars during your stay. Other things to note Please note that pets are not allowed.
