In the Yonne, on the border of the Côte d'Or and the Aube, the Closerie de Gigny welcomes you for a relaxing stay just 200 km from Paris. Located at the entrance of the property, this medieval house was completely renovated in spring 2020 with noble materials, "La Templiere" will seduce you with its charm and history, it is ideal for a stay with friends or family to discover the rich heritage of the surrounding villages. The space You will have full access to the House of 180 m2. La Templiere is a charming country house built in the 15th century, it is one of the 3 dwellings of the Closerie where you can enjoy its wooded park, its swimming pool on sunny days and its Jacuzzi throughout the year. You will have the enjoyment of the swimming pool, its private garden completely enclosed by walls, its outbuildings and an outdoor dining area. You dream of a stay in nature, surrounded by rapeseed fields, wheat as far as the eye can see ,come and stay at La Closerie!!! Gigny is a very peaceful small farming village, and the only village in the Yonne has an elegant bell tower. The area, known for its wine and castles, offers multiple activities and opportunities for outings. Pleasant to live in, friendly and comfortable, the Templiere house has a large living room to gather in a warm atmosphere. The Piscine de la Closerie is open on sunny days . Its access is secured thanks to a gate with a child lock. Chairs and umbrellas will allow you to relax in the shade of centuries-old lime trees. OPTIONAL: Jacuzzi must be booked max 48 before your arrival -You can also enjoy its 4 pers max hot tub: * €15/day * €30 weekend * €100 perweek to be paid upon arrival Length of stay: 2 nights rental minimum . Check-in 5pm , Check-out 10am Weekend: We know that a weekend at La Closerie is always too short! Whenever possible for weekends (from September to June), we leave the possibility of arriving from 2pm on Friday and leaving late on Sunday. Fisrt floor: - 1 Bathroom and 1 Toilet. - 2 Bedrooms: Queen beds. - 1 Bedroom: 1 double bed 140x190 Second floor: - 1 Parent Suite: Queen size bed 160x200 - 1 shower room and 1 toilet. Outdoors: - Private garden - Jacuzzi - Salt swimming pool (open on sunny days and not heated) - Private dining area terrace - Weber Charcoal BBQ - 8 sunbeds - 2 bikes with child seats are available for great walks through the wheat fields or along the Burgundy Canal. - The old farmhouse is an outbuilding of 80 m2 adjoining the house , it is composed of a Jacuzzi room, a children's area to play shelter from the heat , and a room for storage. During the renovation of the house we made sure to keep all the authentic elements of the house . The beams, the floors ,the sewers,the fireplace have found their place in the decoration to the detriment of maybe a little bit of the sound insulation of the bedrooms . Note that you could see or hear our 2 dogs Uva and Olympus but under no circumstances will you meet them in your space.
