The open-plan living area is very comfortable and leads into a well-appointed shower room. The mezzanine bedroom has a vaulted ceiling, Velux windows and a king-size bed. It's a popular apartment which has great links to London, the Kent countryside and the seaside. It is situated on a wide, leafy road with plentiful on-road parking. It is a peaceful area, bordered by Beckenham Place Park which is an amazing woodland full of wildlife. It is also a 15 minute walk to either Beckenham or Bromley, and frequent bus services stop outside the house for both towns. These local towns have plentiful restaurants, green spaces, shops and leisure facilities. A local health club has a fantastic wet spa which visitors can buy evening passes for. As we live on site, we are happy to help out with local information and tips! Included in the price are linen and towel (and a cleaning service for longer stays). Whilst the main double bedroom is on the mezannine floor (up a spiral staircase), the sofa in the shared lounge area converts to a double bed too. This is ideal for children, or for more adults - although it is not a separate room. Guests have full use of the self contained flat. As we live on site, we are happy to provide local information and help when required. The neighbourhood is quiet with easy access to both London and the seaside. Rural Kent is also easily accessible, but there are green spaces right on the doorstep too. There is free on-road parking directly outside the property. Excellent bus and train links enable guests to quickly reach central London. Guests staying here will be able to buy a daily travelcard (£9.80) which provides unlimited travel (train, tube and bus) into, and around London, for a day. We are one tram journey away from Wimbledon so well-located for the summer tennis! We have easy access to the Olympic Park in Stratford should you have sports tickets.
