Unique getaway at the Olarilor Mansion

Guest access The boarding house "Conacul Olarilor", inaugurated in 2022, is located in Baia de Fier commune, Gorj county, in a mountainous area, at 700 m altitude, near well-known places such as Rânca Mountain Resort, Muierilor and Polovragi caves, gorges, monasteries or the stone sculptures of Constantin Brâncuși. The location of the "Casa Olarilor" boarding house facilitates access to hundreds of tourist routes, via-ferrata and climbing, as well as other experiences in the middle of nature. In Polovragi, 15 minutes away by car, you can visit the Polovragi Cave, the Olteț Gorges, but also the Polovragi Monastery. The shops are usually open until 9:00 p.m. and are in the center of the resort, 2 minutes by car. The Profi store is a 5-minute walk away. Conacul Olarilor does not have a permanent reception, so please announce your arrival at least 30 minutes in advance, in order to be received by one of our employees.
