The space The Plumer House is a majestic mansion with a distinctive façade and was fully renovated in country style in 2015. The holiday home invites you to relax, while we secretly hope that you are consumed by curiosity to know all about the city of Ypres and the Great War in a playful manner. The charming design and the interior bring a rustic warmth. The cosy, sun-facing courtyard (35 m2) is finished in Provence style and its pastoral illumination brings you nice summer evenings. The living area (205 m2) is divided as follows: a. Ground floor -Entrance hall and stairwell with a stone floor -Large dining area and sitting room (35 m2) with a parquet floor and antique lighting (the sliding window gives you the feeling of being outside) -Country kitchen (10 m2) with natural light from the big sliding window: combination of refrigerator / freezer, vitroceramic hob, microwave oven and dishwasher -Separate room on the ground floor with shower, drying cabinet, washer and a separate toilet b. Mezzanine with country bathroom implemented in parquet and natural stone -Double washbasin on stone top -Country shower and bath with authentic faucets -Toilet c. First floor with 2 attractively furnished rooms with a parquet floor -Room in English style (21 m2) with a double bed and a writing desk -Room in French style (18 m2) with a double bed d. Charming second floor consisting of 2 rooms with authentic details (roof beams, fireplaces and parquet floor) -Room (21 m2) with 2 single beds and a view through the chapel window -Bright room with a mezzanine (total area of 47 m2) with a bunk bed and 2 single beds – the ideal spot for your children Guest access Access to the entire house, with the exception of the cellar.
