In the beautiful residential area Fahler in the city of Haiger is our large loft apartment with separate ground-level entrance. Haiger is a town in the border triangle of Hesse, North Rhine-Westphalia and Rhineland-Palatinate. The surrounding cities of Dillenburg, Herborn, Wetzlar, Gießen and Siegen can be reached conveniently via the A45 highway or by train. The space Our large loft apartment with separate ground-level entrance directly in Haiger (residential area Fahler) can accommodate up to 4 adults and up to 3 children. This apartment offers you an alternative to a guesthouse or hotel room. On warm days, the small terrace invites you to linger. On colder days, enjoy the fireplace in the wood-burning stove with panoramic glazing. Through the large flat roof windows you can watch the clouds or count the stars. The flat roof window in the sheep room has electric blackout. The separate bedroom offers a double bed (2 x 0.90 m x 2 m) for two people. The bedroom has enough space for a third bed and a crib. Basically, we provide two extra beds (90 x 200 cm) in the loft for guests 3 and 4. On request, this is also possible for the second person. Alternatively, the two extra beds can also be placed in a second double bed. On a large living area (1.40 m x 3.45 m) in the living room, another 2 adults or 3 children can stay overnight. Up to two cribs and three high chairs can be provided. The TV with satellite receiver is connected to a game console. A small hi-fi system with Bluetooth can be paired with your smartphone so you can enjoy your own music. You can enjoy your meals at the dining table in the dining area or at the kitchen counter. The latter can also be used as a laptop workstation. A kitchen with stove, oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, coffee machine and toaster is available for preparing your meals. The apartment has a modern bathroom with a real glass shower and underfloor heating. A parking space is available. The 9:00 am check-out time refers to working days (Monday - Friday). For an additional fee and if necessary, a check-out between 12:30 pm and 1:30 pm can also be arranged during the week. On weekends and holidays, check-out time is by 11:00 am. It is a non-smoking apartment. We will gladly provide an ashtray for the terrace on request. Guest access A separate ground-level entrance leads to the large, friendly loft apartment. Also worth seeing is the local museum, the linen and lace museum and the historical Hauberg in the Offdilln district. Haiger will host Hessentag in 2022. The beautiful half-timbered town of Herborn impresses with a beautiful old town with monuments from eight centuries as well as a zoo in the Uckersdorf district. Dillenburg celebrates its 675th anniversary in 2019. Wilhelm I of Orange was born here in 1533. The Wilhelmsturm, the landmark of the Orange City, was built in his honor. The cradle of the Dutch royal family is in Dillenburg. Museums, numerous sights, picturesque half-timbered houses and much more can be found in Dillenburg. Greifenstein Castle is the landmark of the region that is visible from afar. Experience a thousand years of German bell history, plus one of the few double churches in Germany. The Lahntal outdoor center is full of adventure, because there everyone can let off steam in the open air while archery, in the high ropes course or on the giant trampoline. Breitscheid is considered the center of Hessian cave research. The Karstlehrpfad provides the ideal introduction. In the show cave "Herbstlabyrinth" directly on the WesterwaldSteig - Europe's first stalactite cave with LED lighting - you will discover stalactite diversity in the most beautiful light. In the municipality of Driedorf there are two magnificent bathing lakes in the midst of intact nature - the Krombachtalsperre and the Heisterberger Weiher. The Fuchskaute - the highest elevation of the Westerwald at 657 m above NN - here you will not only find treasures such as wild orchids and rare mountain plants, but also the two quality hiking trails Rothaarsteig and Westerwaldsteig. With the Salzburger Kopf (653 m), the Krammelskopf (about 460 m) in the Haiger district of Steinbach and the Weidekamp (520 m) in Burbach, three ski slopes are also almost right outside the front door. One attraction is certainly the wild and romantic Holzbach Gorge. It is about one kilometer long and up to 30 meters deep. Here the Holzbach has made its way deep into the basalt Bad Marienberg is the right place to get tired hiking feet back in shape on the barefoot path. 18 different floor coverings alternate with each other. In the immediate vicinity of the wildlife park, the climbing forest of Bad Marienberg offers fun and adventure in nature. On 10 courses with over 100 climbing elements at a height of 3 to 12 meters, you will pass through the treetops. An unforgettable experience for the whole family! You can reach the Hailo Outlet in about 5 minutes on foot. The Haarwasen football stadium, home of the regional league team TSV Steinbach Haiger, can be reached in less than 10 minutes on foot.
