Fresh farm-raised food, clean air, clear water and acres of privacy and wonder await you. At a working farm, the chance to partake in diverse and rich experience is plentiful but not expected. Come stay in our piece of paradise. Guest access Guesthouse and adjoining forest including hidden medieval stone crofters cottage and nordic A-frame viking house. Either are perfect for a writers retreat or a place of silent meditation- unless the goats follow you in. Don't miss the trails through the generational filbert orchard or the hundred foot cedars over the deep creek bed. Meander in the labyrinth garden or pick yourself a fresh salad when in season. Other things to note On a working farm there are often sensory experiences that some guests may not have considered. Roosters and ducks greet you in the morning, pigs are occasionally amorous in the middle of the day (in the middle of the pasture), sturdy footwear is recommended and we do ask that if they become muddy, you remove them in the guesthouse. Slippers are a great idea, by the way; the floors of the cottage are concrete and can be a little cool in the morning.
