Feel free to talk to them for any help and advice in person! Conversations in English are very welcome! ◇◆ The Temple Hotel You Will Stay◆◇ The entire Main Guest Room is reserved just for you! It’s a spacious traditional Japanese room. It consists of five small and medium-sized rooms separated by a fusuma (Japanese sliding door), and can be used flexibly according to the number of people and purposes. There are also two rest rooms and one bathroom which are shared with our campsite guests. Additionally, we have a private shower room for you. The main building has two entrances, and the one is privately for you to the Main Guest Room. Otherwise, the Main Guest Room has a large communal kitchen area, which is used also by our guests who stay at the Temple Hut. The kitchen is a shared space with another room, but it is locked by staff from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am and no other guests are allowed to enter. Please rest assured. ◇◆ Temple Experience (Reservation Required, Additional Fee) ◆◇ - Riverside Sauna - Zen Meditation - Morning Porridge - Shakyō (Sutra copying) Come and experience our temple experience, offering a range of activities to refresh your mind and body. Relax in our riverside sauna, surrounded by nature, or find inner peace through Zen meditation. We also recommend our morning porridge experience, breathing in the fresh morning air, or the traditional practice of Sutra Copying (Shakyō) to connect with Buddhist traditions. Guests who have reserved our accommodations will receive a link to book these experiences. Join us for a truly special time at Daitai-ji Temple. Other things to note ◇◆ Access Information ◆◇ [By train] From JR Kii-Katsuura Station (JR Kisei Line), about 15 minutes by cab. From Osaka Station, take the limited express train Kuroshio bound for Shingu. From Shinjuku Station, take the night bus bound for Katsuura Onsen. [By car] From Osaka Hanwa Expressway → Kisei Expressway, Susami Minami IC → Turn at the Yatagano intersection on Route 42 to the upstream side of the river and drive about 5 minutes. From Tokyo Higashi-meihan Expressway / Ise Expressway → Seiwa-Taki IC → Kumano-Odomari IC→Turn right at the Ichiya traffic light on Route 42.
