It is located in magnificent medieval town Grožnjan and is equipped for excellent vacation. I believe that this is a right place for you! The space Grožnjan is little medieval town which became art colony in 1965. One of the artist who was a member of colony was painter Ivan Lovrenchich and this was his house where he created his art. House is decorated with his paintings. Entrance to the house is on mezzanine where the kitchen is (equipped with stove, fridge, toaster, el. cattle...), and living room with dining table, sitting area, and old traditional istrian fireplace that you have to see! On the first floor there are 2 bedrooms. In first there is bed for one person, and in second double bed. The bed for the 4th person is on the attic or in the living room. Bathroom is on ground floor and provides a shower, washbasin and toilet. The house is air-conditioned and has barbecue, baby cot, washing machine, hair dryer and freezer. The house is made of stone 80 cm thick, and was built in 1865. Furniture in the house is from that era. So if you want to experience the atmosphere of living in the old istrian house this is place for you. A parking lot, two restaurants, a pizzeria, two caffe bars, the tourist information office, grocery store, ATM are all within 200 m. Closest bigger town is Buje (6 km away), where is: supermarket, gas station, bus station, doctor, pharmacy... The house can serve you as starting point for visiting northen Istria area that has lots of natural, cultural, entertainment, gastronomy... attractions, but is good for exploring Istria as a whole.
