A freshly renovated and modernised Norwegian log cabin nestled on the idyllic shores of Loch Earn, the perfect spot to explore Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park. This light and airy space comes with incredible uninterrupted views of the Loch and surrounding hills, private car parking, fast WiFi, unlimited Netflix and a feature wood burning stove making it extra cosy and comfortable at any time of the year. With unimpeded breathtaking views out onto the Loch and surrounding hills from the sunny veranda; the space always feels light, airy and filled with adventure. Having recently undergone a full refurbishment and modernisation the lodge now features: - Large Log Burning Stove - with complimentary logs, kindling and matches etc. - Smart TV - Fast WiFi - Unlimited Netflix - Modern Kitchen and Bathroom - Egyptian Cotton Sheets and Luxury Towels A great base for exploring Scotland. A wonderful area for sightseeing, with Lochs and mountains around every corner, walking, cycling, water sports and much more. Lochearnhead makes part of the Heart 200, which is a touring route of approximately 200 miles, around the heart of Scotland. Golf – St Fillans, Comrie, Killin, Crieff and Callander are less than 30 minutes drive by car and offer excellent facilities. Fishing - On Loch Earn, by boat from the Drummond Fish Farm or from the Loch shore. Permits required. Water sports – Loch Earn; Wakeboarding, Water-skiing, Paddle Boards, Kayak, Speed boat trips all available for hire/coaching from Loch Earn Wakeschool, next to the Clachan Cottage Hotel, a 5 mins walk. Local Jetty - on Loch Earn; a privately owned jetty on the Loch shore with guest access on request. Getting around Walks – Lots of good walks from the doorstep, including the Glen Trail; for the more adventurous try bagging a few Munros eg Ben Vorlich, Ben More, Ben Lawers, Ben Lomond and many more. Cycling – National Cycle Route 7 passes through Lochearnhead giving traffic free cycling on the former railway track between Callander and Killin. Cycle hire locally at Comrie, or Callander. Car day trips – will allow you to take in the breath-taking scenery of Glencoe (40 mins), Pitlochry (60 mins) Oban and the Isles (50 mins).
