Superior Room With Kitchenette

The Mansion is a 150 years old building with two floors. On the first floor of the mansion, there are two bed rooms with their own private bath rooms and a big living room and this has also got a very big balcony with a sea and garden view. One of the bedrooms has got a double bed, another one two single beds. The bed rooms open into the living room, where is the kitchen area with a fridge, cooker etc. The space Hoyran Wedre is located in the quiet village of Hoyran which lies at the foot of the Taurus Mountains at an altitude of 500 m above sea level. It overlooks the turquoise waters of the Mediterranean Sea with views of Kekova island and the Chelidonian cape. Our guest houses, which are surrounded with aromatic plants of thyme, sage, oregano and trees of carob, bay, olive, fig and almond offer a getaway holiday for those who love to relax in comfort. The cottages are spaced aesthetically to fit the enviroment which allow guests to rest in the harmony of tranquil surrounds. Perhaps the most important aspect of Hoyran Wedre is the fact that it is far away from the noise and pollution of industrial cities. The mornings here start with birds singing and a peaceful day is coloured with the grazing of sheep and goats… Architecture Hoyran Wedre’s architecture is based on the areas rustic surrounds. Local stone was used in the construction of the cottages amongst the old oak trees. The interior walls of the cottages are plastered with earth, straw and lime (wattle and daub), just like the traditional old houses of the region. This technique allows the walls to breathe, which enables the rooms stay cool in summer and insulated in winter. All the rooms are tastefully decorated with antique furniture, hand crafted closets, shelves and chest of drawers with a traditional fireplace. Guest access Our Swimming Pool The swimming pool is modelled on the shape of the local cistern, alongside is the children’s pool set centre stage with magical views all around. The beautiful swimming pool offers you the oppotunity to swim, sunbathe, read, relax and daydream. Our Garden Hoyran Wedre has a big garden (14000 m square) with a variety of trees including apple, almond, fig, peach, pear, walnut, cherry, kiwi, pomegranate, lemon, carob, bay, oak, olive, and pine. Our cultivated gardens have been planted in an eco friendly way and our watered from the traditional water depot “akkuyu”. There are over 20 drinking fountains to keep our guests refreshed and two small antique style theatres and numerous secluded sitting areas to enjoy the view. Our Animals Our hens provide fresh eggs for breakfast and the garden is also shared by tortoises, squirrels, frogs, and many species of butterfly. Migratory swallows and swifts and resident owls along with eagles and hawks are amongst the wide variety of birdlife to be seen. Registration Details 2022-07-1354
