A luxurious farmhouse dating back to 1741 with an authentic feel. The space The house has 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The main bedroom is large with a queenside bed under draped mosquito net and an en-suite bathroom with bath and shower. The second room also has a queen size bed. The two authentic single rooms has single beds. The 5th room has a double bed with a door that leads onto the front porch. The heart of the house is the kitchen and scullery with an age which has a large hood over it The house has 2 living rooms of which the bigger one has an indoor braai, an honesty bar and a table tennis table as well as lots of games in the cupboard to keep you occupied. The other living room also has a fireplace with wood ad infinitim. The fully furnished front porch is the whole length of the house and has an eight seater dining table on the one side and a nice sitting area on the other side. This stoep/porch has the most breathtaking view over a well manicured garden, oak trees, the Langeberg Mountains where Sleeping beauty came to rest and Gysmanshoekpass. A barbecue braai on the lawn in front of the sitting area of the stoep to braai and enjoy. On the back porch are 2 fruit crates with wood, 4 spaces bicycle rack and two Adirondack chairs to use to look at the view as well as a climbing frame with two swings and a slide under a big willow tree. Our farm offer lots of activities since it is a working farm with cropping land, macadamia trees and avocado orchards as well as an intensive sheep farming branch. In the house is a farm map to orientate you where to go for adventures on the farm. There are a few farm dams to swim in. One of the dams has a little boat with paddles to row on the dam for free. All kinds of the most exquisite wild flowers i.e. proteas, snake bush, /ericacea family, fabacea family, Holy capers etc. can be found in this area. You are welcome to cut for yourself to take home. The farm is also a mountainbikers dream, with millions of jeep tracks to choose from. Hiking is also a magical experience for us. We often see something new in the fauna and flora like buschbuck, rabbits a big variety of birds and plants. motorbike driving are also well known in this area. We are 10 km away from the Korentepoort dam which is one of the best kept secrets for waterski enthusiasts. Guest access Guests are welcome on the entire farm .
