Secluded hut w/shower & fire pit in Usk Valley

Our fully-insulated shepherd's hut offers a genuinely off-grid experience. The hut is South-facing, with stunning views of the surrounding countryside - and nothing else! Our land is well served by public footpaths (though none come near the hut), with walks to suit all standards. (Our favourite is to the pub, which will take you about 40 minutes.) Your only companions are sheep, wild animals and birds. You have the exclusive use of a compost loo and eco-shower, located near the hut. The space Sleeping two comfortably in an extra-large bed, the Shepherd's Hut provides cosy accommodation with all the essentials you need for your stay. Cook outdoors on the fire pit, or indoors on the portable electric hob. There is a kettle, toaster and fridge, plus all the cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils you will need. All you need to bring is food and drink! And there's room to pitch a tent or two if you want to bring the children - please ask in advance, as there is an extra charge for this. Guest access Walnut Tree Farm is ideal for walkers. We ask people not to park in the field with the Shepherd's Hut, as it messes up the ground; but you can park in the yard - and we provide wheelbarrows if you have lots of luggage. Other things to note Please don't bring your dog. Sorry - we love dogs and have two of our own: but we're surrounded by sheep, and we just can't take the risk.
