Description
Among poplar, larch and chestnut woods, at over 1000 m, stands the ancient hamlet of Piana Fontana, reachable by car and close to Alagna. Here, where time seems to have stopped, is Ca' Scocc, a charming 17th-century house made of stone and wood, restored in keeping with tradition, with eco-friendly materials, and equipped with all comforts. Arranged over several floors, it offers numerous indoor and outdoor spaces (large wooden lobbies), which allow you to dine outside and enjoy the view. The space The house, at guests' complete disposal and with 2 private and independent entrances, is a typical ancient Valsesian mountain house, arranged on several floors. On the ground floor there are: a bathroom with shower, the wine cellar and the laundry room with washing machine and the barn. On the first floor, with access from the lobby, there is a fully equipped kitchen and the old living room with a fireplace, sofa and dining table. On the second floor, with access from the lobby, there are two bedrooms: the "green" room, equipped with two single beds (which can be joined together to form a double bed) and a TV; the "lavender" room, with a double bed (and a possible, if required, child's bed), a TV and a small study with a desk. From this room, a staircase leads to the third floor attic. The attic is all in larch wood and exposed stone. Here, on a charming and panoramic mezzanine with windows, there are two other beds (single or double) for a unique and charming experience. In the lower part, there is a living room with a large window, pellet stove, sofa, TV, equipped kitchen and a bathroom with a shower cabin.
