2B at The Royal Bank House is the top floor of the old RBS building. Light airy rooms, high ceilings, original features, and beautiful views. NB The 4 flights of stairs up are the price of the views! We don't have a TV, but there is WiFi. Our kitchen is ideal for vegans/vegetarians. We do not prepare meat in it. We have a washing machine, but no dishwasher nor tumble dryer. We aim to be as environmentally friendly as possible. As of January 2022, we are new at this. So please bear with us. The space This beautiful flat in a grand old property has been a labour of love to renovate and modernise. It's a work in progress so will likely change over time. The whole flat is stylish, airy and light, with high ceilings and amazing views. The bedrooms are large but somehow also cosy - and the living room a tranquil space in which to read, listen to real, vinyl records, or even casette tapes, and talk. Guest access Parking is always available on Greenside (where there is also a good pub serving wood-fired pizza) found to the rear of the building. From there it is a short walk back to the flat via School Vennel. Other things to note As mentioned in the description. There is a washing machine - and there is plenty of drying space around the flat. We have decided against a tumble dryer on energy/environmental grounds. There is also no dish-washer - but the view of Maybole and the hills beyond from the sink is perfect to contemplate whilst cleaning dishes and , we think, turns it into a satisfying and meditative activity. Similarly, we have no TV. There is, however, WiFi for streaming services - login details are in the hallway and on the router. There are books to read, and an antiquated record player to listen to a limited but eclectic collection of vinyl records. Registration Details SA-00076-F
