Mansion Motel - Rooms w/ One Queen Bed
Mansion House Motel
Details
Room #1 and #2 in the Mansion Motel are main floor cozy rooms with one queen bed, small kitchenette, and updated bathroom with a shower, decorated in either a Native American or Cowboy theme. Rooms are walking distance to several restaurants, bars, and downtown shops. There is a sitting area on the porch just outside the door, where you can enjoy the lovely Wyoming summer evenings. The room includes wifi, cable TV, a coffee maker with coffee and tea, and offers self check in. In 1950 the property along Main St. and Holland St. was renovated from an ice house to a motel, to add to the number of rooms at the Mansion House Inn next door. The rooms were very modern for the time and the pastel color tiling in the bathrooms was so popular in the 1950's. Most of the rooms still retain this vintage tile and chrome accents, making them fun and different. Each room has a sitting area just outside the door so you can enjoy the cool Wyoming evenings. This room has one queen size bed, a table and three chairs, a microwave and refrigerator, and a coffee maker with coffee and tea provided. Guests will have free parking access along Holland Street, Main Street, and in the dirt parking directly behind the motel. The owners live close to the site, and are available at any time to assist you during your stay. We now have contactless check-in for all of the rooms. You will receive a message the day before you arrive with your room number assignment and key code. The Mansion House Motel is located just 2 blocks north of Buffalo's downtown. Buffalo has a unique historic western flavor. You can easily walk to the county museum, library, visitor center, restaurants, bars, and local shops. Buffalo offers many well maintained trails along Clear Creek for hiking/biking and one of these trails is located just one block behind the property. Enjoy the picnic area, playground or city pool along Clear Creek in the city park. A 10 minute drive west takes you into the heart of the Big Horn Mountains, where you can enjoy hiking, fishing, hunting, and wildlife viewing. If you are a Longmire fan, you will be happy to know that Buffalo was the inspiration for Craig Johnson’s series and mythical town of Durant. Cast members visit Buffalo most summers. We hope you enjoy your stay while in Buffalo! Buffalo offers the Clear Creek Trails, which allows users to bike or walk all of the way through town and several miles up the creek toward the Big Horn Mountains. It is only a short drive into the National Forest, Lake Desmet, and other public lands.
