Chalet Baumfuchs is a detached chalet located on the edge of the forest with a stunning view of the Rhone Valley. It is located in the holiday village of Tschuggen at 1600 meters above sea level near the middle station of the family-friendly Belalp ski resort. In the chalet village there are a total of 100 identical chalets, all of which are privately owned. Some of them are rented out as vacation rentals. New: Now with a small sauna and a relaxation area as well as a small terrace with an outdoor shower! The space We extensively renovated the Chalet Baumfuchs in 2021 and furnished it with a lot of love for detail. It is important to us that our guests feel comfortable and that they do not miss anything during their stay. We also thought of the young guests. There are plenty of books and board games available for young and old. Guest access Summer: In the snow-free months, you can drive to the chalet by car. A covered parking space is available free of charge. Winter: In winter, the road leading to the chalet is the valley slope of the Belalp ski resort. This makes ski-in/ski-out possible in good snow conditions. The car can either be parked in the parking garage at the valley station of the Belalpbahnen (Blatten bei Naters) for a fee or in a free P&R parking lot. The chalet can be reached via cable car (exit middle station Erich). From there, it is about 600 m back to the chalet via the slope/winter hiking trail. To simplify your journey, luggage transport can be booked with the Belalpbahnen (round trip CHF 120, not included in the travel price). The luggage return transports must be registered with the Belalpbahnen by 6 pm the day before. Other things to note We try to make it as easy as possible for our guests in the chalet. Toilet paper, household paper, vinegar, oil, spices, dishwashing liquid, dishwasher tabs, bed linen and towels are provided in sufficient quantities for the stay. The beds must be made and unmade by yourself. The chalet is heated by electricity and pellets. Depending on the outside temperature, we would be grateful to our guests if they would refill the pellets (pellets are available free of charge in sufficient quantity). In return, you will be spoiled with a cozy fire in the living room.
