This un-bee-lievable beehive is mainly made out of clay and is an excellent therapy for the whole body, based on close contact with bees. The space ★SLEEPING ABOVE THE BEEHIVES / SLEEPING WITH BEES / BEE BEDS★ Sleeping on the beehives is a big adventure and it's very easy going. Don’t worry, bees don’t fly around the room while you sleep. The bees are in several beehives placed under the bed and the only way they come into the beehive is from the outside. Knowing that the bees are buzzing underneath the bed is a thrill. Sleeping in the same room, where bees actively work, restores strength and immunity. Clean and healthy air comes through a fine mesh of bee home. ★ COMFORT IN THE BEEKEEPING ROOM ★ The beehive is located in the house's backyard and it is yours completely to use. This un-bee-lievable beehive is mainly made out of clay, straw and wood. Don’t worry about convenience and comfort. Beehive has three single beds (size: 90x200cm) and a modern bathroom with a shower. Towels and bed linens are provided. Size of the beehive: 20m2 with a touch of local tradition and apitourism Please note that there is no wi-fi and TV in the beehive. Just relax, connect with nature, detox and feel the healing power of the bees. Parking is available in front of the house and is free of charge. ★BEE BREAKFAST, ANYONE?★ No problem. We can arrange a healthy bee breakfast at an additional cost. If you want to make your own breakfast, a fully equipped kitchen is at your disposal. The kitchen is not in the apiary but in the house's garage, which we converted into a nice summer kitchen. ★A STATE OF SELF-HEALING OF THE BODY★ People come here for many reasons: Simple relaxation and rest; as a remedy for an imbalance, ailment or concern; to share some meditative time; to immerse in the blessings of bees; with friends and fellowship with nature or simple soulful solitude. The bee buzzing induces a mild state of meditative trance and triggers our self-healing frequency. It is a very powerful detoxifying treatment that considerably improves blood circulation in deeper layers of the skin. Honey Massage in the beehive is available at additional payment. ★PUT ON A MASK FOR AEROSOL INHALATION★ Inhaling the air from beehives has positive effects on psychophysical wellbeing. By inhaling that warm beehive air, the aerosol, through a special breathing mask, we directly input precious natural elements which are organically occurring within the hive (propolis, royal jelly, beeswax and pollen). ♥︎'BEE' OUR GUEST! ♥︎ Welcome to Slovenia, the only country with the word LOVE in its name! We believe that caring for bees equals caring for humankind. Guest access You will have the beehive all to yourself. Beehive is in the backyard of the house. The kitchen is separated from the beehive and it is located in the garage of the house. Guests can also join guided beekeeping tours, put on a mask for aerosol inhalation from the beehive, get honey massages, and purchase various bee products. Other things to note Please note that payment of tourist tax is mandatory in Slovenia! According to law, each adult guest must pay €1.5 per night, children 7-18 years old €0.75 per night. We will collect tourist tax upon arrival, and it is not part of the confirmed price. PLEASE NOTE: When temperatures (late fall and winter) drop below 50 °F (10 °C), honeybees retreat to their hives and form a winter cluster to keep warm. We keep hives in the apiary from April to the end of September and then we remove them so that the space can be heated during the winter for our guests. Even though you will not hear the buzzing of bees during winter (because they are not in the apiary), there will still be a healing and relaxing smell of honey in the room. The price is, therefore, lower in winter.
