- Stay as if You Live Here - This house was once a place where family members would gather each year, returning to Hagi to visit their parents and spend time together. After the house became vacant, we chose not to let it fade away. Instead, we carefully restored it so that those visiting Hagi could use it not simply as a place to stay, but as a second home — a quiet base for everyday living while traveling. The space Respecting the character of traditional Japanese architecture, the house has been gently renovated to suit modern comfort, and is now offered as a private, whole-house accommodation. - A Home That Invites Stillness - An earthen wall shaped by time. Sliding glass doors at the entrance. Beyond them, a summer orange tree quietly standing in the garden. Through light, shadows, and the movement of air, you may naturally sense the changing seasons of Hagi. On the western side of the house, there is a small meditation room. Nothing special is required. Simply sitting quietly and focusing on your breath may leave a deeper, unexpected resonance within your journey. - Location & Way of Staying - A locally loved supermarket and a 24-hour coin laundry are just a two-minute walk away. Kikugahama Beach and the historic castle town can be reached in about seven minutes on foot. While the house is well located for sightseeing, it is also designed for living — allowing you to experience Hagi at an unhurried pace. Because we hope guests will truly savor their time here, longer stays are encouraged, and discounts increase from the second night onward depending on the length of stay. We warmly invite you to consider staying for multiple nights. Guest access Check-in is self check-in using a key box. Please open the key box, take the key, and enter the house upon arrival. The access code will be shared by the day before check-in. You will have exclusive use of the entire house during your stay. The detached building in the backyard is not in use, and there will be no one entering the property. Other things to note Tatami mats are sensitive to moisture. We kindly ask that wet towels or drinks are not placed directly on the tatami, and appreciate your cooperation. Please use the provided futons and amenities within the number prepared for your reservation. In the event of excessive use or damage, we may need to consult with you regarding an additional charge. As the house is located in a quiet residential neighborhood, we kindly ask that you keep noise to a minimum after 8:00 p.m., so everyone can enjoy a peaceful evening.
