In the heart of the Lot Valley lies our comfortable cottage, just five minutes from the village it’s the perfect starting point for exploring the charming villages and vineyards along the river, and for tasting the famous Malbec, the “black wine of Cahors.” Cycling enthusiasts will appreciate the area, renowned for its cycling routes, as well as the secure cabin available for storing bicycles. 25 minutes to Cahors and within an hour of the must-see sights of neighboring Dordogne, The space The cottage sits in its own private garden with off-road parking within the grounds of our property. On the ground floor the spacious living room has comfortable sofas set around the wood burner stove , TV and a large dining table can also be used as a work-space. French doors out to the terrace and lawned garden with mature trees. The fully fitted kitchen equipped with range cooker, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, coffee maker, kettle , toaster, air fryer and a slow cooker. Within the kitchen is another dining table. A spacious bedroom on the ground floor overlooking the rear garden with king-size bed, and built in wardrobes. An adjoining bathroom with full size bath, separate shower, vanity and WC. On the first floor the other bedrooms : Bedroom 2 with King-size bed and en-suite shower-room with vanity and WC. Bedroom 3, a large twin with 2 large single beds and bedroom 4, a single both sharing a shower-room with vanity and WC . N.B. The 2 x large singles beds can comfortably sleep 1 adult or 2 young children. The price includes all utilities- central heating during the winter months, a supply of logs for the wood-burner, all bed linen, tea towels, bath towels. There is excellent Fibre broadband connection with Wifi access throughout the property but we cannot be liable should there be any loss or interruption to the Internet service. TV with French and UK Freeview channels. A selection of DVDs and games. In the garden a petanque pitch, barbecue and pergola with table and chairs to seat 8 We can provide, at no extra cost a baby travel cot, highchair, stair gate - please let us know at time of booking. A couple of minutes walk across from the cottage and you can be fishing on the River Lot. The area is popular for cycling and has many walking trails. Storage for cycles is provided. Guest access The entire cottage is for your private use along with its own garden. We will be here to welcome you on arrival and at your departure. Other things to note We are situated on the edge of the village and within walking distance to a small supermarket, a fuel station is close by and the village with a public outdoor pool in the summer months, boulangeries, cafes, delicatessen, bank, florist , hairdressers, post office and the weekly market. A larger supermarket within a five minute drive.
