In the heart of the Lot Valley lies our comfortable cottage, just five minutes from the village it’s the perfect starting point for exploring the charming villages and vineyards along the river, and for tasting the famous Malbec, the “black wine of Cahors.” Cycling enthusiasts will appreciate the area, renowned for its cycling routes, as well as the secure cabin available for storing bicycles. 25 minutes to Cahors and within an hour of the must-see sights of neighboring Dordogne, The space The cottage is located in its own private garden and has private parking within the grounds of our property. On the ground floor, the spacious living room has two French doors onto the terrace and the grassy garden with mature trees. A large dining table is located in the living room, which can also serve as a workspace. The kitchen is fully equipped with 8 gas burners, a double oven, a stove. Large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, fryer and slow cooker. Another dining table is in the kitchen. A spacious bedroom on the ground floor overlooking the back garden with a king-size bed and fitted wardrobes. An en-suite bathroom with bathtub, separate shower, vanity unit and toilet. On the first floor, the other bedrooms: Bedroom 2 with king-size bed and en-suite shower room with sink and toilet. Bedroom 3, a large twin bed with 2 large single beds and bedroom 4, a single bed, both sharing a shower room with vanity and toilet. Note: The 2 large single beds can comfortably accommodate 1 adult or 2 young children. . The cottage is well equipped with good quality modern fittings and utensils. The price includes all services, including a supply of logs for the wood stove and heating during the winter months, bed linen, tea towels and bath towels. The property has excellent fiber optic broadband connection and Wifi access, but we cannot be held responsible for any loss or interruption to the Internet service. . There is a DVD player and TV with UK Freeview and French channels. There is a selection of DVDs, books and games. A pergola in the private garden with table and chairs for 8, a large barbecue and other seating areas and parasols in the garden. We can provide, at no extra cost, high chair, stair gate, baby bath and travel cot should they be required. Please let us know. A few minutes' walk in front of the cottage, you can fish in the Lot River. The area is popular with cyclists and has many hiking trails. Storage space for bicycles is provided. Guest access The entire cottage is for your private use along with its own garden. Other things to note We are located on the outskirts of the village and within walking distance of a small supermarket, a nearby gas station and the village with a public outdoor swimming pool during the summer months, bakeries, cafes, delicatessen, bank, florist, hairdressers, post office and weekly market. A larger supermarket is a five-minute drive away.
