Cal Cabrer - El Vilosell

Description

The house is on the ground floor of Cabrer, where there were the stables of the house that have been refurbished leaving the stone walls and arches in sight, combining it with rustic but modern materials and opening the space to a porch and a garden for the exclusive use of guests. The space Cabrer is one of the oldest houses in the village of Vilosell, one of the most beautiful villages in Les Garrigues, in the Serra de Prades area. The house can be accessed by different streets: on the street of La Costa, one of the most authentic in the village, cobblestone and steep; by the church square, the highest part of the village or on the street of La Fassina, where we can park the car. The house consists of a kitchen, dining room and living room with direct access to the porch and garden, a double room, a large room with two bunk beds that also has direct access to the porch and a large bathroom. The kitchen is perfectly equipped with a fridge, oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and all the necessary cookware and utensils. There is also a barbecue in the garden. Guest access Linens and towels are provided, but cleaning is not provided during the stay. However, the home has a washing machine for guests' exclusive use. The cleaning service of the accommodation is also not provided during the contracted stay. Other things to note Activities in the village Must-see are the hermitage of San Miquel de la Tosca in a fantastic setting in the Serra la Llena where the Seven River was born, affluent of the Segre. It is accessible by car but it is interesting to do it on foot along the Crucifix road, in the middle of the mountains. If you like to hike you can also take the tour of the huts, which will allow you to get to know an example of the popular architecture of the region. From San Juan to September 11, the best place to spend the hottest days are the town's municipal pools. Fantastic saltwater pools with good shade to protect us from the sun. And throughout the year the meeting place is the Plaza de San Sebastià, a very large, tree-lined square with games for the scoundrel and also to exercise the elderly. In the same square is the Bar del Centro, with a terrace to enjoy the sun in the winter and the shade during the day and the cool on summer evenings. A great place to meet the people in the village and relax while the kids play or ride a bike or skate in the same plaza.
