The space Villa Laras is a luxury four-bedroom villa, that accommodates up to nine guests. The villa is fully self-contained with a large open kitchen, large central living space, open-to-sky second-storey gallery, and direct access to the pool. Villa Laras is a unique design, based on the traditional Javanese limasan form. It’s built with beautifully restored antique carved teak panels and contemporary features. Guest access The property is a one-hectare, naturally landscaped tropical garden, featuring a dam with fish, a natural creek, tropical trees and traditional Javanese statues, bamboo stands and open grass lawns. The garden is a natural bird refuge and is managed organically to encourage local wildlife. It includes a playground with recreation facilities including a trampoline, a kids-pool with a little waterfall, a ping-pong table, badminton-field, a designated family-barbecue area, and a traditional massage pavilion. The property is designed to be environmentally friendly, with passive cooling, rain-water harvesting, low-energy appliances, solar power and the use of recycled timber. It has an open air living-room, open-to-sky bathroom and access to the main infinity pool, which faces the sea and enjoys wonderful views, to enhance a relaxing and leisure experience. Other things to note The whole complex is also kid friendly with heaps to do for youngsters: pool, trampoline, badminton, boules, table tennis, tree climbing, popcorn cooking and even an environment trail. Babysitting is available for the little ones and children (up to 12 years) may stay for free if sharing a bed with mum and dad or siblings. Infants (up to 2 years) stay free, and a cot and baby car-seat are provided free of charge.
