Large gite in a Castle with private beach

The Holiday Accomodation, called "West Tower", is located in the Chateau Salamon, which overlooks the Tarn river (or Lake of Lacroux) and benefits from an exceptional view. The omnipresent nature invites calm and relaxation. It has a private beach with pontoon and a "Jeu de boules" playground. Many activities: walks and hikes, canoes (included), electrical bikes to rent, fishing, cultural visits, etc. Great attention has been paid to the pleasure, relaxation and aesthetics of the place. The space The accomodation (which has fiber internet and central heating) is bright thanks to its many glazed surfaces. It is located in the west wing of the Château. Its outdoor space allows you to enjoy a magnificent view overlooking the Tarn and has a private beach with pontoon for swimming. You enter through the bright living room, with a large fireplace, a French ceiling and magnificent windows (including a 15th century mullioned windows) with views overlooking the Tarn, the garden and its trees. . The kitchen, fully equipped in the charm of the old, allows you to prepare your meals and drinks with a view of the living room. On the large table 10 people can eat easily. On the first floor, you will find two large bright bedrooms, the "butterflies" and "trees" bedrooms, each with a queen size bed 160x200, and a toilet. The bathroom on this floor, which is superb, has a big italian shower. On the second floor are two charming bedrooms under the roof, the "mammals" and the "frogs" bedroom, one with two 80x200 beds (possibility of forming a 160 bed), the other two 100x200 beds or a 200x200 bed. Between the two bedrooms is a very functional bathroom with bath-shower and WC. Outside, two spaces are dedicated to the cottage, a space just outside the cottage consisting of a small table with two chairs and a swing. A little further, about twenty meters away, you will have a large table for 8 to 10 people as well as a parasol. The private beach is located below the castle, with a pontoon to access the river, deckchairs, canoes, shade and sun, there is something for everyone. Guest access The easiest way is to come by car or plane/train and then rent a car. The nearest station, the Albi-ville station, is located 50 minutes away. There is a night-train every night from Paris to Rodez. The nearest airports are Rodez (1h), Toulouse-Blagnac (1h35) and Montpellier (2h15). You have private parking at the entrance of the Château. Other things to note The area is not yet completely secure (free access to the Tarn river): vigilance recommended with young children.
