The whole space consists in one 2 bedroom house+ mezzanine and 2 newly built bungalows, located in Buahan village with beautiful view of trees, facing the lake and overlooking the glorious Mt Batur Volcano. This listing is for 1 of the 2 bungalows and can comfortably accomodate 2 people. No access to the chalet. The fire-pit, in the center of the land will be shared with other guests. Made of natural stones and local wood, this mountain bungalow is simple and cozy. The room features 2 comfortable single beds pushed together to make one large bed, or can be split if you prefer a twin room setting. Batur, this is the perfect base to experience Kintamani's raw beauty. | The New Bungalows | Located 50 meters from the main house, the two bungalows provide additional privacy and comfort: 🌿 Each bungalow includes an ensuite bathroom with a shower and toilet. 🌿 One bungalow is furnished with two single beds (twin configuration). 🌿 The other features a convertible setup with two single beds combined into one large bed. Meals are not included in the base price. However, Kadek, our delightful housekeeper, is available to prepare breakfast, lunch, or dinner upon prior request, at a very reasonable price. Please note that there is no WIFI available on-site; only a 3G connection accessible via your phone. We aim to provide our guests with an authentic local village experience, and we appreciate your understanding in this regard. Guest access You only have access to the bungalow you've booked. The chalet on the other side of the property that has a kitchen and a large veranda is for the private and exclusive use of the guests who booked it. Only the fire-pit in a share space with other guests on the property. One pack of firewood is charged 20,000 IDR Maximum occupancy for the bungalow is 2 guests. NO extra bed or baby cot available. For more than 2, you can book the adjacent bungalow, the chalet to the whole complex. Other things to note IMPORTANT NOTE : ⚠️ Please be advised that during dry season, you may encounter machinery noise in the villa area as our neighbours tend to their plant watering duties approximately between 4-8 AM. ⚠️ You're up in the high mountains of Bali, where temperatures are typically about 15 degrees cooler than on the coast, and even chillier at night. Combined with the frequent cloudy and drizzly weather, it's wise to have a sweater or jacket during the day and essential after sunset. Our property is nestled in a peaceful, non-touristic area where you will experience the charm of authentic Balinese daily life. Here’s what you can expect: 🔈 Local Sounds: The sounds of nature and village life are part of our charm. You might hear roosters crowing and dogs barking at times. During local celebrations, our friendly neighbors may gather for karaoke, adding to the festive atmosphere. 🦗 Natural Surroundings: As we are located in a lush, agricultural area, you may encounter harmless bugs like flies and mosquitoes, especially during the harvesting season. We recommend packing some insect repellent for added comfort. 🗻 Scenic Views: Enjoy a peaceful and quiet environment at night, and wake up to stunning views of Lake Batur, Mount Batur, and Mount Abang during the day. 🛜 Variable WiFi Connectivity: Due to our location surrounded by hills, WiFi speeds may be slower on heavy or rainy days. We encourage our guests to embrace the opportunity to disconnect and enjoy the natural beauty around them. We aim to provide our guests with an authentic local village experience, and we appreciate your understanding in this regard. March 29th - 30th 2025 : NYEPI (Silent Day) - No check-in or checkout possible that day- Nyepi Day on 19 Mar 2026: (no check in or check out allowed on this date) Embrace the unique Balinese tradition of Nyepi, of Silent day. Nyepi is a day of reflection, meditation, and quiet observance. During this time, the island gracefully falls into complete silence, and various restrictions are observed. Please be advised that on Nyepi Day : 📌Silence and Inactivity: There will be minimal outdoor activities, and guests are expected to keep noise to a minimum. Outdoor lights will be dimmed in the evening. 📌Travel Restrictions: No outdoor travel or excursions will be permitted on Nyepi day. This includes leaving the villa premises. 📌Public Services : Public services and businesses including shops and restaurants, will be closed As a guest in our space, you'll have the opportunity to join this cultural experience.
