On the Moselhöhe, near Koblenz / Cochem

Arrive and feel good in the Moselle Valley. Visit our spacious, self-contained apartment on the 1st floor of our two-family house. It covers about 100 square meters and is 15 km from Koblenz. The space In mid-2016, we decorated the apartment with a lot of love and optimized it with the help of many great guests to this day. In spring 2022 was renovated, there was a facelift for living/ dining room and hallway as well as new wallpaper and mattresses in the two large bedrooms. The kitchen was renewed in April 2023. In addition to the large refrigerator, there is a high-quality Bora induction hob, oven, microwave and dishwasher. The kitchen cabinets and drawers are well stocked (sufficient dishes, glasses, cutlery, champagne, wine, shot glasses, pots, pans, boards, cereal bowls, bottle openers, whisks, sharp cutting knives...) there is also a coffee machine, kettle and egg cooker, toaster, dishcloths, dish towels, dishwashing detergent, dishwasher tabs, filter bags, baking paper, aluminum foil, garbage bags and much more. In our wine fridge you will find a selection of delicious Mosel wine from various winemakers, the region (at cost price). In the bathroom there are toothbrush cups, toilet paper, cosmetic wipes and much more. There is a smart TV in each bedroom and one in the living room in the apartment. The balcony invites you to linger. There is free Wi-Fi, private internet connection (Telekom) in the apartment, for limitless surfing pleasure. If needed, we are happy to provide a children's travel cot, a high chair and a changing table with diaper bucket for a fee. Alternatively, we are happy to arrange a family bed (2.00 x 2.70 m) in one bedroom for an extra charge. Please note that smoking is only allowed on the covered balcony, not inside the apartment (house rules). Bicycle/motorcycle setting in the basement, accessible access. Guest access The light-flooded apartment is located on the first floor of our two-family house, which can be reached via a staircase with a gallery. The entire first floor is at your disposal. All rooms are on one level (accessible). The free parking spaces right by the house can be used. Storage for bicycles in the garage. Access is barrier-free. If necessary, motorcycles can be parked in our garage or under our carport. The charging station for electric vehicles is covered (up to 22 kw charging power, type 2 plug) and makes relaxed charging possible (for a fee). Other things to note Welcome to the beautiful Lower Moselle. The perfect place to relax and unwind. Hikers and athletic people will feel just as comfortable here as those seeking peace and quiet. Dieblich-Berg is a district of the municipality of Dieblich and is located on the Mosel heights (about 1 km to the Mosel) overlooking the vineyards, Koberner Castle and the Matthias Chapel. In our small district there is plenty of space for hikers, runners and cyclists as well as for a leisurely evening walk with views of the vastness. Mountain bikers will get their money's worth here. Bikes can be parked in a separate room in our basement. Access is possible via the garage barrier-free. Ambitious athletes start directly from here towards Hunsrück or Eifel. Hikers can reach many starting points of the dream trails or the Rheinsteig as well as some of the castles of the Moselle and Rhine valleys within a few minutes by car. The Schinderhannesland (Hunsrück) with the game reserve as well as the Geierlay suspension rope bridge and the Eifel Volcano Park with Lake Laach can also be reached in less than 30 minutes by car. The Westerwald with the famous pottery town of Höhr-Grenzhausen is only 20 minutes away by car. In the immediate vicinity is Koblenz, the city on the Rhine and Moselle with its many sights and shopping. Bike lovers should visit the Canyon showroom (just 12 minutes from us). Eltz Castle and the castle in Cochem are another highlight of the region. Dieblich is an emerging and steadily growing community. The infrastructure is very good. There is a medical center, a bakery, a supermarket, two natural farms with fresh local produce, a winery, several excellent restaurants as well as a small pizzeria and much more. In the neighboring communities, too, there are many opportunities for shopping and lingering, and all this is within close proximity. You will feel comfortable! Due to the exposed location in the immediate vicinity of the A 61, you can reach the Koblenz industrial park (Amazon, Rhein-Zeitung, Dachser, Kühne&Nagel, Canyon, etc.) in just 7 minutes. The cities of Cologne, Trier, Mainz, Wiesbaden or Frankfurt as well as Phantasialand and Frankfurt Hahn Airport within 1 hour.
