The Knights at Motuoapa,Taupo,Tongariro Crossing .

Our family holiday home is a modern, warm ,well appointed sunny family home. It is located central to many amenities & attractions - a few being just 15 minutes to theTrout Hatchery at Turangi , thermal pools at Tokaanu, just a 30 minute scenic drive to Taupo, 40 mins to Whakapapa ski fields and the gondola. We have plenty of off street parking for trailers etc. You have the entire house (apart from some locked cupboards) to relax in after a day spent enjoying all the local area has to offer. The space Turangi is renown as a world class trout fishing area, & with 3 ski fields ,white water rafting, mountain biking, walking & the Tongariro Crossing all in the area, there is plenty to do. It is a picturesque drive to Hobbiton, Rotorua, Waitomo all within 2 hour drive. It also has a supermarket, cafes, plus takeaways can be delivered. The modern house has a roomy, sunny lounge which opens onto a large covered deck , which steps down to another deck area, off which there is a playhouse. We supply a full kitchen with basic supplies for your convenience, so you can enjoy dining in should you choose. All linen , pillows, duvets. (there is not a separate fee for this) are supplied also. There is a highchair, and 1 cot ( with linen), if needed. There is one heatpump in lounge,plus one in main bedroom so the house is cosy & warm. Wifi is available, access sent with entry instructions. Please note that we are currently changing from VDSL to Fibre. We have plenty of board games, books for your use as well as tennis racquets, basketball , petanque etc - the courts are very close by. House rules : no parties, pets or smoking/vaping on property ; please remove your rubbish, ( bags supplied), otherwise just relax and enjoy your stay. Guest access You have access to the entire house which has a spacious internal access garage, this also contains the laundry (10kg washing machine), an indoor clothes line plus a clothes drying rack. It doubles as a great living area for the kids, or storage area for the toys.There is an outdoor clothesline behind the boatshed. A large covered sunny deck off the lounge is great to enjoy sunny days, and fantastic sunsets. This space has great indoor outdoor flow from the lounge, complete with deck blinds ( please keep these up when not in use, and on departure). There is plenty of off street parking for our guests vehicles, boats etc. Visitors are welcome provided they, and their vehicles ,have departed by 11pm. Other things to note We provide all linen,duvets,pillows and towels. If required, especially for longer stays, you have the full use of the laundry located in the garage. Our yellow folder in the lounge contains information regarding local attractions ( ie trout hatchery, sky gondola, rainy day activities, walks etc) . It also contains operating instructions ( if needed) for appliances, and helpful hints such as the where the local refuse & recycling centre is located , just 10 minutes away. Please ensure you place your rubbish in the bin in garage (rubbish bags are supplied), have done your dishes, and turn on the dishwasher before you leave. Thanks for staying and drive safely.
