***Pet Friendly*** Enjoy the experience of summer on the lake in Maine! Moose Pond is a quiet 12 mile lake in the quaint town of Denmark, minutes from Bridgeton ME, Fryburg ME and North Conway NH. Cottage is set on a hill with beautiful views of the lake and private lake frontage across the road. Private dock to enjoy the lake or for your own boat if you want to bring a boat. Canoe is provided 2 Bedrooms. The lake is great for swimming, known for fishing and all kinds of boating! The cottage sleeps 5+ with a queen bed in the master bedroom and a bunk room with a full bed under and a twin over. The living room has a futon sofa. The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, toaster and tableware and cooking essentials. There is a small TV in the living room and there is cable and wifi. I provide a charcoal grill, fire pit, and picnic table for outside cooking and relaxing. There are chairs to relax outside on the deck. I provide sheets, blankets and pillows, towels. The Cottage is situated on its own property and includes dock and lakefront area directly across the road. The water is great and there is a floating dock to swim to. There is a fire pit to enjoy evening campfires and s'mores. A charcoal grill is available for cooking out. For younger children, the town beach is a few steps away with a sand beach, docks and gradual entry into the lake. A canoe is available for exploring the lake. Denmark is a quaint town conveniently located within the Maine Lakes Region. 2.5 hours from Boston, 50 minutes from Portland, 25 minutes to North Conway village and another 45 minutes to Storyland Amusement Park and the Loon Mt Area. 1 hour to the NH National Forest and the Kangamangus Highway with River fun and hiking. The town of Bridgeton is 10 minutes away and has Hanford Supermarket, Dunkin Donuts, McDonalds and plenty of dining and shopping places. Bridgeton also has a Cinema and a twin Drive-in Theater. Naples ME is a 20 minute drive and has activities on Long Lake, mini golf, and dining options. Off street parking is available at property. Airport located in Portland, ME (1 hr), Boston, MA (3 hrs.) Train in Wells, ME (1 1/2 hrs) Please note that the cottage is situated on a treed lot on a hilly area. There are "steps" at the front entrance by the street, but there is an incline to get to the side entrance by the driveway. Pets are welcomed with an additional pet fee of $70.
