The space THE LITTLE HOUSE La Casetta is a mini house, of 38 square meters, made of local and sustainable materials, designed in every detail to integrate with the beautiful surrounding green landscape. Accessible from a private entrance, La Casetta is all on the ground floor and directly overlooks the large flower garden and your rejuvenating, free private swimming pool. It consists of a double bedroom, a bathroom with a shower, and a small fully equipped kitchen with an electric stove, a fridge with a freezer compartment, and a microwave. In the bedroom, a third single bed is located on a mezzanine 2 meters above the floor, accessible via a ladder. A rooftop photovoltaic system produces clean energy and powers the Casetta. YOUR EXCLUSIVE EXPERIENCE IN THE GARDEN In the garden you will find your private pool of 6x3 meters, the solarium with comfortable loungers, the large fenced garden of 1000 square meters, relaxation corners, many trees and flowers, the hammock, the pond with lilies and red fish, an outdoor living room with the fire pit for your evenings to look at the stars. Everything is for your exclusive use. Only you will be there, in perfect tranquility and authentic privacy. The pool is heated in the spring and autumn by the sun, thanks to the solar panels, up to the temperature of 28 degrees, during the day and on days of good weather. The water will be pleasantly warm, perfect for a dip, then you can warm up in the sun on your comfortable lounge chairs by the pool. Here you can rest and regenerate, letting you wake up from the birdsong and savoring every moment of the day in harmony with nature. Everything is designed to ensure privacy, privacy, autonomy and absolute relaxation. DESIGN DETAILS AND AMENITIES Large windows overlook the garden, woods, and private pool; a rooftop window frames a corner of the sky to fall asleep looking at the stars. Wood is the characteristic element of the Casetta's interior: every furnishing detail was created by us, with our NaturAS artisan business. It is equipped with a smart TV in the room with a Tivùsat system (which also picks up the main foreign channels), free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, electric heating, mosquito nets, free parking on the adjacent street, and a charging station for electric cars (the latter service is for a fee). Linens for the bedroom and bathroom are included in the price. For weekly stays (7 nights), a towel change in the middle of the stay is included. The rooftop window, above the bed, is totally obscured with an automated system. In the Casetta, you'll find a complimentary supply for the day of arrival of: coffee, tea, sugar, salt, oil, and vinegar. In the garden, you will find a supply of wood for your brazier, which is included in the price. Any subsequent supplies have the cost of €6 per basket. You will have a washing machine at your disposal, free of charge, in a designated room a short walk from the Casetta. To dry your clothes, you can use a portable outdoor clothesline. It is possible to request the use of a dryer (this service is for a fee). OPTIONAL BREAKFAST SERVICE You can request breakfast. With authentic, organic, and local products, it is delivered in two large picnic baskets, hung outside your front door every morning, so you can start the day slowly and in your private spaces. Breakfast has an additional cost to the stay, equal to €18 per day for one person; €26 for two people. INTERACTION WITH HOSTS AND OTHER GUESTS From your Casetta and the garden, you can see other people in the distance: us hosts, or the other guests who rent our other accommodations, but no one will invade your space. Only we hosts will do daily cleaning and maintenance in the garden and in the pool, early in the morning and for about 30 minutes. We are Stefania and Alberto and we will be happy to have you here. We live in the small village, less than 100 meters from the Casetta, and we will always be at your disposal for any need and to give you all the information to explore the territory, full of naturalistic, cultural and gastronomic attractions and still far from mass tourism. We are waiting for you! HOUSE RULES AND YOUR DOG If you bring your little dog with you, they will be welcome. Your stay must be arranged at the time of booking and you will be required to specify your habits and needs for a peaceful vacation. You can leave it free in your private garden, but it will be forbidden to enter the pool. It will also be necessary to train him to obey in case there are situations of repeated barking. We have dogs and cats, but they stay in separate spaces. The private garden of the Casetta measures 1000 square meters and is completely fenced with a metal net, with a tight knit, to avoid the escape of even the smallest dogs. The height of the network is about 1.5 meters. You will access the garden through a gate, which only you will use. In the event of accidental damage to furniture, doors, walls, accessories, or the pool, or if extra cleaning is necessary, stains or animal hair are found on pillows, carpets, armchairs, sheets, towels, bedspreads, and blankets, the costs for restoration or replacement will be charged. Finally, let's point out that nudism is prohibited. NOTES ON THE SURROUNDINGS Our location is strategic: mountain tranquility at 700 m, but strategically positioned for various regional experiences, all within an hour's drive: NATURE, TREKKING, AND BIKING: Start walking/hiking or biking directly from the Baita. You are close to the beautiful CICIU DEL VILLAR NATURE RESERVE (famous for its unique rock formations, or "earth pyramids", linked to a local legend). The area is full of charming and authentic Alpine and Occitan villages, such as RORE, TORRETTE or CHIANALE, which is ranked among the most beautiful villages in Italy. ALPINE CHALLENGES: Take on the Colle dell'Agnello (2,748 m) – the second highest automobile pass in Italy and a legendary stage of the Giro d'Italia – or drive further to visit Saint-Véran, the highest municipality in Europe that is inhabited all year round! WINE AND FOOD: The surrounding area offers exceptional local cuisine at great prices, including the famous regional dish, Ravioles della Valle Varaita (gnocchi made with local cheese, served with butter and cheese). Guest access La Casetta is located just 2 km from the town of Rossana (Cn), in a very small village consisting of only 7 houses, surrounded by greenery and woods. You will arrive here very easily by taking the hilly paved road, which is uphill for a short stretch, with a couple of hairpin turns. Only the last 200 meters are on a gravel road, but the road is easy and completely flat, easily accessible by any vehicle. Parking is outdoors and adjacent to the property. The access is independent. Return is free at any time. La Casetta, its garden, and pool are all for you. There are no places or moments of sharing with other Guests or people. Only we hosts, who live about 100 meters from the Casetta, will be at your disposal if needed or if you want. When you arrive here we will personally welcome you and give you all the information to enjoy your private spaces in autonomy and privacy. If you need to arrive later than 8:00 pm, we will send you all the instructions to access the Casetta on your own and we will meet the next day, at the reception, for the registration of your identity documents. We collect the raw material in the valley woods, gathering broken branches and roots from the ground, which strike us for their shape, color, and grain. In the workshop, it is precisely those features that guide us in bringing the wood back to life. Naturas' wooden jewelry and luminous sculptures are unique, unrepeatable, entirely handmade pieces. They are often personalized, because they unite the recipient with the personality and subtle energy of the tree of origin. During your stay, you can create your unique and personalized wooden jewel with your creativity and your hands.
