Description
Sarakino is a villa with a private pool consisted of three buildings, the House of Literature , the House of Poetry and the house of Pedestrian, and is located in the picturesque village of Agios Dimitrios. The house can conveniently accommodate up to 19 guests, and offers a very special stay experience, as we certainly see it from the name of the house. The space The main building, the House of Literature, is a four-bedroom, two-story house with three bathrooms. The main entrance of the house leads to the spacious living room with the sophisticated decor, which stands out for its literary references, as well as the fully equipped kitchen with a separate dining table as well as the breakfast area. The ground floor offers two spacious bedrooms – one with two single antique beds (100 x 190) and another bedroom with one double antique bed (135x190), as well as a bathroom with shower. There are also 2 small verandas overlooking the courtyard and the entrance of the property, while at the front there is a large shaded terrace overlooking the garden and the pool. The first floor offers two bedrooms, one with two single antique beds (120x190) with internal bathroom and two balconies and a second bedroom with double antique bed (170x210), indoor bathroom and a balcony. The House of Poetry can be used in addition if there are more than 8 guests and it is located right next to the House of Literature. A small house decorated with great taste that offers on the ground floor a master bedroom with a double bed (160x200), a bathroom with shower, as well as a fully equipped kitchen with dining area. Some steps lead to the open-plan loft that offers 2 semi-double beds (135x190). The house offers an additional 2 small terraces with access to the courtyard that is specially designed with stone benches. The third cottage, the House of the prose, can host 4 extra guests. This house has one ground floor with a kitchenette and living room, one bathroom with shower, and one bedroom with double bed. Its terrace offers access to the courtyard, while there is an open-plan bedroom upstairs with a large double bed. Two extra folding beds can be added to any of the homes. A special touch to the overall experience is the library of the villa with a variety of English books, including rare editions and books that are out of circulation. Upon arrival guests can enjoy a guided tour of the library or borrow some books to read during their stay here. For bookings from 9 to 13 people the House of Literature and the House of Poetry will be available. For bookings of 14 people or more all 3 houses will be available. Guest access As we appreciate the privacy of our guests we offer exclusive use of the House of Literature/Poetry/Prose, the pool and the surrounding areas. Other things to note The pool can be used daily between 9 in the morning and 9 in the evening. It is not possible to use earlier/later due to maintenance and cleanliness that is done daily. Please note that according to the property's policies, a fully refundable damage deposit of 350.00 euros is required upon arrival and is paid in cash upon arrival. *The amount of the deposit is refunded on the day of departure after checking the place. Please note that according to Greek law there is an overnight tax of 1.5 euros per night that is not included in the total cost and is paid in the accommodation upon arrival.
