Maison de Chêne - Sleeps 10 - Luxourious gite

This luxurious gite is situated in the small village of Dompierre-les-Églises. The gite is located just 10 km (12 minutes) from Magnac Laval providing all facilities (supermarket, baker, butcher, post office, bank, café/bars etc. We are in the southern-centre of France at 41 km from Limoges. Popular places to visit nearby include Le-Dorat at 7 km and Bellac at 23km The “all year round” airport at Limoges is just 55 km away and train services are available at Le Dorat. The space Maison de Chêne is a gorgeous barn conversion that is set in rolling countryside. Sleeping a maximum of 10 people (includes 1 double sofa bed) and totally self contained. It is set over 3 floors over amazing oak timber. There is off road parking immediately outside the gite. Bed linen, towels, logs and all utilities are including in the daily charge. The gite is available all year round with 2 cosy log burners for those cold winter nights. On the ground floor there is an open plan lounge, dining area and fully equipped kitchen with dual fuel range cooker. The lounge hosts a large smart satellite TV with blue tooth sound bar for you to play all your favourite tunes. Free fast fibre Wi-Fi connection. Nintendo Wii. There are double patio doors to the front which lead onto a paved area with table and chairs overlooking the fields of Dompierre Les Églises. Great private area for a BBQ. There is a separate snug room if you want to shut yourself away. This is were the double sofa bed is so it’s lovely and private. The stairs lead up to 3 private double bedrooms with sliding doors. Here you will also find the bathroom with roll top bath and large shower room, both having electric towel rails. Up to the 3rd floor you will find 2 single beds in a large mezzanine area. Please note that there is a very low beam to access this area. Once in the room there is heaps of space. Going through the snug door there is access to a 4 person hot tub so that you can relax after a day of exploring. This is totally for your use during your stay and is not shared. Guest access Guest have total access to all areas of the gite with hosts Tracey and David living in a separate house a stone's throw away in the courtyard if needed. Other things to note We have 2 dogs and 3 cats at our property. In France all men and boys must wear figure hugging swimwear when using public swimming pools. Speedo or trunks type not loose shorts.
