With Hi Speed STARLINK Internet service and a private hot tub The space Second Star, formerly the W home, is a unique 3 bedroom, 2 bath, 1450 sf house, nestled in palm trees, overlooking an inland lake. The home features an open floor plan that allows air and light to flow. The interior follows a modern, yet warm pattern. Every detail has been paid attention to. The outdoor area features an open space , where palm trees provide shade on a hot day. An outdoor shower awaits our guests for an immediate cool down. One house away, our guests can dive into a beautiful (heated) pool that is exclusively for guests of the Safety Harbor Community. Right next to the pool, our guests will find a tennis and a pickle ball court which are surrounded by tropical vegetation. Private hot tub for guests use is on the lower deck. Second Star is on the Lake in the Safety Harbor Community. Overlooking the lake watching all the wildlife daily is one of our favorite pass times! All guests will be registered with Safety Harbor Club HOA. The private beach access to a secluded beach is just around the corner. In case you are arriving with your own boat, please let us know and we will get you a slip for an additional fee. If arriving by private airplane as members of Salty Approach we can arrange a guest pass again, for additional fees. Second Star offers its own book library (also children's books) for our guests as well as a state of the art entertainment system with 4 lat screen smart TV's. Safety Harbor Club offers additional books and DVD's to borrow as well as board games in the clubhouse for guests to borrow. Bring your own Amazon, or Apple Stick for smart TV access with Hi Speed STARLINK Internet service. There is a high chair for use for guests with young children, and a pack n play, as well as a retractable baby gate at the top of the spiral stair and a baby monitor (sound only) and a safety lock hook on front door out of reach of our little guests! Beach chairs, beach towels, and umbrellas are available for your use during your stay as well as some beach toys! If you would like to have access to additional baby safety features such as outlet plugs, pllease let us know in advance, we will do our best to provide them. Guest access Our guests will have access to a heated pool, tennis court, pickle ball court, clubhouse, beach access & boat dock in Safety Harbor Club. Added to your reservation are the fees for Safety Harbor Club facilities of $35.00 per night. If you are arriving on your private boat and would like be able to dock at Safety Harbor Club Wharf, additional fees will be applied. Please let us know at time of booking so we can make the necessary arrangements. We also have an airstrip membership for Salty Approach, guest passes available for additional fees. All insurance and registration information for boat/airplane must be received prior to any guest pass being issued. All documents are required by Safety Harbor Club for boat docking at the Safety Harbor Club and by Salty Approach for airstrip access. We can help make all arrangements necessary once the required documents are sent. Safety Harbor Club Pool and Clubhouse offers Hi speed Starlink internet service for use while at the pool or clubhouse! Two bedrooms have king beds for guests comfort. The third bedroom has 2 twin beds. Only the 6 registered guests (4 adults maximum unless special arrangements have been made) are permitted on the property. At least one guest must be 25 years old to rent. Proof of age required. Guests will be registered with Safety Harbor Club HOA office. Only registered guests will be allowed to access Second Star and SHC amenities. Additional guests are not allowed and will be removed from the property and are not allowed access to any SHC facilities. Our home is the perfect single family home for families to enjoy time together in a peaceful private environment. Other things to note We love to cook and like to pass this passion on to our guests. Our home is equipped with all you need to prepare delicious meals (including a Weber grill, food processors and many spices). We have a drip coffee/k pod combination cofee pot and a coffee bean grinder for guests who prefer to grind their own beans. Also, we hope you enjoy the Capresso machine for frothing cold or warm milk, cream etc:) As with most North Captiva Island homes, Second Star is on stilts. Our home has a reverse floor plan. To access Second Star there is a flight of stairs from the ground level which leads to the bedroom area, then a small spiral staircase to access the living area. Second Star is not recommended for those with difficulties climbing stairs. If arriving by private boat, we can arrange use of a slip during your stay, at the Safety Harbor Club Wharf area, additional fees will be charged. Safety Harbor Club HOA requires documentation of boat registration and insurance to be provided before a guest pass will be issued. Please provide the information once reservation is confirmed so we can assist in an easy check in process. If arriving by private airplane, as members of Salty Approach, LLC, we can provide a guest pass, again, additional fees will be charged. A guest pass will not be issued until all documents required by Salty Approach are received and approved by Salty Approach. Our island is not like any other area of Florida, there are no hotels on our island, we have endless miles of natural beaches.Our home which is overlooking the inland lake, is visited daily by birds and wildlife which makes our home our own little tropical paradise. Being a private home set lakeside in the HOA community it is a very tranquil, natural setting. We enjoy the tranquility of our little spot on the lake:) Please note at least one guest must be 25 to rent home. Proof of age required. No party groups allowed.
