Overcomer Cabin ~ Moravian Falls

Welcome to our cozy sanctuary in Moravian Falls. Just 45 minutes from Boone and 10 minutes from charming Wilkesboro, Overcomer Cabin invites you to restful sleep surrounded by the scent of aged barnwood. Awaken to sunlight filtering through the windows, embraced by towering trees. Enjoy modern comforts including a refrigerator, a microwave, and a Keurig coffee. This lovely cabin offers easy access to the bathhouse, making it the perfect peaceful escape here at Emmaus Place. The space Our family homestead, called Emmaus Place, spans over 6 acres and is completely surrounded by trees, accessed by a private, quiet road. The cabins are 16' x 20' with all-organic wood interiors. We use a mountain spring water system. The water is free of chemicals and is delicious and healthy to drink. You will find a mason jar of this mountain water in your fridge for your coffee machine. Guest access Parking: We have a gravel parking lot on our property that guests can use for free. Wagons: We provide large wagons for guests to use for transporting luggage to the cabins. Pathways: Guests must be able to walk up and down gravel pathways with an incline to access the cabins and bathhouse. Bathhouse: The bathhouse is a shared space with separate facilities for men and women. It includes hot showers and restrooms. There are no bathrooms in the cabins. Benches and Picnic Tables: Enjoy quiet time or dining. Charcoal Camp Grills: Two traditional grills are available in the picnic area. Additional Amenities: Enjoy the swinging bench and two tree swings! Short Drives: > 5 minutes to The Gathering Church > 10 minutes to Food Lion (nearest grocery store) > 10 minutes to Kerr Scott Dam (lake, park, trails) > 10 minutes to Wilkesboro (nearest town) > 15 minutes to Prayer Mountain > 20 minutes to NASCAR races > 45 minutes to Boone Other things to note We want to create and maintain a quiet and tranquil environment for you and all our guests. The cabins are spaced apart to ensure privacy. We usually have 3 cabins available for booking at a time, keeping our guests’ comfort in mind—unless there is a conference or MerleFest. You will pass our home near the circular drive. Our dog lives with us but is kept inside the house or on a leash when outside. Please, NO candles, smoking, or open flames!
