The "Alte Metzg" is the slightly different accommodation in the village of Appenzell. In the over 500-year-old house, the boutique guesthouse and the hostel invite you to a relaxing and carefree stay. The entire building was newly renovated in 2021. The guesthouse and hostel are two independent areas, rooms can be booked individually. In the Alte Metzg we offer rooms for every taste, with private or floor bathroom, common rooms (kitchen/living room) and sauna for use. Room 3 with private bathroom The space The boutique guesthouse was rebuilt in 2021 and each room is lovingly furnished with vintage design furniture. We have rooms with private or shared bathrooms. The cozy living room offers space to linger, the kitchen can be used for cooking, the large terrace offers space to relax and the in-house sauna contributes to well-being.
