The Shop is a cosy, self contained apartment in a quiet Cotswold street, close to the bustling market square in Cirencester Town centre. It's compact, but quaint and ideal as a base for exploring the Cotwolds countryside. Cirencester has lovely walks, an ancient amphitheatre, an outdoor swimming pool and a thriving town centre. It's also an ideal spot for day trips to the picturesque towns of Bibury and Tetbury, to name a few. The fully equipped kitchen offers the option of dining in. The space The apartment is equipped with all the amenities you need including ironing board and iron, free Wi-Fi and a smart TV. The kitchen-diner features a fridge, cooker, washing machine, microwave oven cookware, dishware, utensils, kitchen appliances etc. Please use the products left in the kitchen cupboards as they will have been placed there to make your stay more enjoyable. The double bedroom has plenty of hanging space and drawers for your belongings and access to the shower and separate WC. Fresh towels and bed linen are provided as standard as well as shower gel, shampoo, handwash and kitchen essentials. The apartment will be professionally cleaned prior to your arrival. The Shop gets its name from the days when it was the local grocery store run by Mr Walker, the block is now named after the owner - Walkers Court Gloucester Street is a very quiet street, though extremely close to town, and is lined on both sides with Cotswold stone buildings. Guest access Guests have access to the entire ground floor apartment which is accessed directly from the street and has 1 bedroom with an en-suite shower room and toilet. The bedroom features a double bed with a clothing rail and additional storage space. There is no shared space within the apartment – you will have it all to yourself. Our doors are open for everyone - the apartment is a safe space for all travellers, within a quiet town that is welcoming of all nationalities and LGBTQ communities. Other things to note Pets are welcome at this apartment. It is on the ground floor and has direct access to the street and a small courtyard (not enclosed). An additional charge of £25 per pet per stay is applicable Parking can sometimes be difficult, but the Abbey Grounds, Forum and Brewery Arts car parks are all within a short walk. Mobile signal is sometimes intermittent within the apartment due to the thick stone walls, but strong WIFI is provided FOC.
