Located right on Apple Valley Lake just outside of Mt Vernon, OH this 2250sqft house is recently remodeled has 4 bedrooms, 2.5 baths 2 levels and is beautiful. You can enjoy our dock and go swimming or paddle boarding or just relax and fish. On the main floor is a card room perfect for family games, kitchen with walk out to 2nd story deck and 3 season room, living room with TV, and master bedroom with a private deck and fireplace. Downstairs has 3 bedrooms and fireplace. The space The lake is 511 acres and is known to be the cleanest lake in Ohio. It is a beautiful setting. Relax and have fun swimming, floating and fishing off of our dock while enjoying great views of the lake. In the summer you can watch the Osprey fish the lake and raise their chicks, in the fall, winter and spring American Bald Eagles can be seen. While staying at our house there are so many fun outdoor activities in the Knox and Ashland Counties you will never be bored! Mohican State park is 15 miles away where you can enjoy hiking, canoeing, tubing, go-carts and more. If you like adventure, there is Tree Frog Canopy Tours on Wally Road which is less than 25 mins away. Malabar Farm State Park is 20 miles away, and if you like shopping at quaint little shops, visit Berlin in Amish (36 miles)country for a full day, make sure you have breakfast or lunch at Boyd & Wurthmann Restaurant (cash only). There are also great shops on the way in Millersburg. Kokosing River Canoe is only 10 mins away, they offer canoeing, kayaking and tubing down the river, If you are a golfer you can’t get a nicer public course than Apple Valley Golf Course which is open to everyone. PLEASE NOTE: Apple Valley Lake is privately owned and regulated, so while you can use our dock for swimming, floating and fishing you will not be able to boat or use the beaches/pools, those amenities are reserved for property owners only or those who buy a temporary pass.
