The Da Silva Surfcamp is a typical Portuguese country house in a quiet location with stunning views over the countryside to the sea. Here a shepherd with his flock of sheep passes by twice a day, in the morning you are awakened by the crowing of a rooster and otherwise you only hear the birds chirping. The beach is a 20-minute walk away, and with the beach cruiser, which you can rent from us for free, it only takes 10 minutes. The space The terrace room is located on the first floor of our main house above the fireplace room. The room have a bunk bed with double mattress. Underneath there is a toilet with sink and a small table where you can play cards well. In the front part of the room there is a cozy sitting area. The sofa can be folded into a comfortable double bed so that the room is well suited for two couples or for a couple with two children However, the highlight is undoubtedly the large sun terrace (partly covered), from which you have a great view over the wide landscape to the Atlantic Ocean. The terrace can also be reached via an external staircase (from the courtyard). Therefore, sometimes other guests sunbathe there, but in the evening we ask for the night rest. You can shower in the shared bathroom on the ground floor or in the (warm) outdoor shower around the corner. From April to October, a buffet breakfast is served in the main house, which is included in the price. Guest access The da Silva Surfcamp is just right for people who want to switch off and escape the stress of the big city. For families with children, it is ideal here. Around the house there is mainly a lot of rustic nature. You can take wonderful walks along the dirt roads. On the other side of the valley is the typical farming village "Zambujeira". There is nothing there except a small café and a mini grocery store. A visit is still worthwhile, as it is really still very original there. Once a year, sometime in August, there is a big village festival, for which even the great-grandmothers dress up again. If you want to go out in the evening, you have to go to Praia da Areia Branca or Peniche, but we will take you there with our shuttle bus. So you don't have to worry, you won't be bored. Other things to note If you want, you can learn to surf quickly and safely with us from local surfers and get an intense impression of the Portuguese way of life and culture. "Surfing" is an exciting game with the forces of nature. At the same time, it is in absolute harmony with nature. We would like to convey to you the "Spirit of Surfing", which stands for harmony among surfers, respect for nature, the ocean and the culture of the country.
