Pubs and Restaurants are within walking distance. Horse riding and surfing on your doorstep. The Local Shop is 50 Meters away. With private parking and an enclosed back garden. The Anchor is the perfect location to start your holiday adventure on the Wild Atlantic Way. Come and Stay and love it like we do! The Anchor sleeps 6 people in 3 bedrooms, one twin and a double and then a master with a double bed and sitting area. All bedrooms are upstairs. There is one bathroom upstairs with a shower over the bath. There is an open fire in the livingroom and oil fired central heating. The kitchen has a dishwasher, washing machine, oven, gas hob, microwave, kettle toaster and toasty maker. A full sized fridge and freezer. A dining table that seats 6, Seating in the Livingroom for 6 too. There is a picnic table and BBQ in the garden and BBQ coals, Firewood and Heating oil are included in the price. We have Sky Q on a 32 inch hd LG TV, a DVD Player and Three Dongle Wifi. Bookings for Easter, June to September, Halloween, Christmas and New Years are for 7 days from Saturday to Saturday. If you want to book for the Jazz and Blues then Thursday to Thursday for this week. The full house and Enclosed Garden are yours to use. There is a private drive and parking for up to 3 cars out front. We will meet you at check-in and come wave you off at the end of your stay. We will walk you round the house and explain how everything works. We have a holiday home in this locality so are here over the summer season and can be contacted by phone with any questions you might have. We can put you in touch with any services you would like to book for your holiday as we know all the local businesses. Dunfanaghy is well known for its Wild Atlantic Beauty. Ards Forest Park, The Friary and Marblehill beach are within 10 minutes drive. Glenveagh National Park is just 30 minutes drive away. Dunfanaghy is a vibrant village with a Saturday market with local fruit and veg, flowers, home baking and crafts from 11 till 12 in the Ozanam centre and after that a flower, fish and fruit and veg market in the village centre. There is a Tuesday market too in the summer. There is Called Casa Deli for deli food and daily baked goods, a butchers, and two small supermarkets too . There are craft shops, a childrens playpark, a local Spa, a hairdressers and all other village amenities. Most of all there is the ceol agus craic in Patsy Dans The Oyster and Molly's Pub. You will be spoilt for choice when you want to eat out with The Cove, Arnou or Arnolds Hotel's restaurant, The Shandon's Marbles Restaurant and Buttermilk to choose from. And then the best kept secret in Donegal, the Rusty Oven for all the stone baked pizza fans! You have to try the dessert pizza! Amazing! There is Narosa and Jaws for the Surfing and SUPing too. Coffee from the Shack in Marblehill and so the list goes on. Come stay a while and fall in love with this place. You can walk to the beach, golf club, horse riding, pubs and restaurants. There is a taxi service if you want to go further afield and we have the number in the house to book Eamon to take you. The Anchor is literally beside a little shop with a great in house butchers for all your BBQ requirements. It is 200Meters from the Bar in Arnolds Hotel, across the road from Killahoey beach and the golf Club and a stones throw from everything Dunfanaghy has to offer. Park the car up when you arrive and unless you want to drive, you can do it all by foot.
