Guest access All except restricted areas Other things to note Welcome to YUMEJI YUMEJI is a cozy, vintage-style private house where you can enjoy the entire space to yourself. (Only one group per day) About Check-in Please note that our staff does not stay on-site, so be sure to let us know your estimated arrival time in advance. We will arrange to hand over the key upon your arrival. About Breakfast Our owner, who personally renovated YUMEJI, bakes bread in our handmade stone oven at a small workshop called DANJI. If you would like breakfast, please let us know at least two days before your arrival. For guests staying multiple nights, please inform us by 3:00 PM on the day before if you would like breakfast the following morning. We will deliver freshly baked bread from DANJI’s stone oven the night before your breakfast. The delivery time will be up to us — if you’re not around, we will leave the bread in the kitchen for you. To enjoy, simply toast the bread for 2 minutes and 30 seconds — you’ll love its rich, rustic flavor. What is DANJI? DANJI is our creative workshop where we combine: • Living: Renovating houses (including YUMEJI), repairing old structures, crafting handmade goods, and restoring antiques • Food: Baking bread, making preserved foods, and running a natural farm You can see sample images of our meals on our reservation page. About Room Cleaning If you would like us to collect used towels or take out the trash during your stay, please let us know in advance. Cleaning times are not fixed, and our staff will enter the room as needed. Access by Bus • From Kyoto Station: Take Bus No. 206 from A3 Bus Stop, and get off at Kenryuko-mae. YUMEJI is a 4-minute walk from the stop. • From JR Nijo Station: Take Bus No. 206 and get off at Kenryuko-mae. YUMEJI is a 4-minute walk from the stop. Access by Car If you’re driving, please use a nearby coin-operated parking lot. The street in front of YUMEJI is very narrow, so parking directly at the house is not possible.
