Other things to note Herlihy's is an ideal base for exploring Kerry, as it is adjacent to the Wild Atlantic Way and 1.5 km from Kerry Airport. Herlihy’s is an ideal base for day trips to Killarney, the Ring of Kerry, the Dingle and Beara Peninsulas and beyond. There is a supermarket directly across the road, a Kebab House (50m), Bar and Restaurant (300m) and Coffee Shop (400m) in the village. For those not having a access to a car there is a railway station and excellent bus service also in the village. Marie continues to live in the building and is happy to engage with guests and offer advice on what to see and do in the Kerry. She has a family of four cats, who can be guaranteed to socialise with her guests should the opportunity arise.
