To the left of the living room is the TV room with comfortable leather couches and a desk. The dining room is off the living room and has a large antique table with seating for 8. There is a small bar area and secretary desk. The half bath is off the dining room. The kitchen has beautiful views of outside and tons of appliances include an Italian stove, Nespresso and drip coffee machines, panini press, toaster, microwave, Nutri bullet blender. Off the kitchen are steps out to the backyard with tons of space for playing and relaxing. There is a fire pit, an old school charcoal grill and a gazebo with lounger bed next to the creek (which flows with natural warm spring water). Also off the kitchen is a deck with dining table and patio furniture and a gas/charcoal grill. There are stairs from the patio up to the second floor, with access to the back bathroom and all bedrooms. There are three bedrooms and four beds, all on the second floor. The master bedroom has a king size bed, an antique dresser and a small desk. There is a second bedroom with a queen bed and another desk connected to the master through a small hallway. In between the master and back bedroom is a bathroom with large shower. (Please note that to access the back queen bedroom, you must either walk through the master bedroom or cross over the top back balcony and enter through the bathroom with a tub. The back queen bedroom opens to the second bathroom with a clawfoot tub and shower. The third bedroom has two queen beds and is across from the master. There is a front facing balcony on the second floor with a French bistro table and chairs for morning coffee or evening drinks. A beautiful green marble antique desk in the upstairs hallway is perfect for remote working. The second floor also opens to the back facing balcony with a lounger and bar stools overlooking the mountain and creek. Please note: there is an inclined driveway from the main road to the house. In snowy or icy weather, we recommend parking at the top of the road. 100% of the house is accessible to guests. There is a coat closed off the bedroom that holds some of our personal items but can be used by guests as well. We live in Washington, DC but area always available and responsive.
