6 person holiday home in DALSKOG The space Welcome to Lilla Halängen and Grandma's House. Here you can enjoy trees and greenery, go on forest walks, have breakfast outside to the sound of the stream, swim in the lake, pick mushrooms and berries, go fishing and much more. Lilla Halängen is a family farm in the fourth generation. On the farm there are four houses, the houses are located at the edge of the forest with fields that spread out in front and with the forest behind. This cozy house is called “Mormors Hus” / “Grandma's house” and is located in Dalskog. You are welcomed into the cozy red cottage into a spacious hall. To the left of the hall is a large living room with fireplace, sofa bed and dining area. The cottage has a smaller bedroom with a bunk bed, a larger bedroom with a double bed and a spacious country kitchen with a fridge and freezer and a dishwasher. The cottage's bathroom also has a shower and a washing machine. On the lawn in front of the house you have access to garden furniture and a barbecue. Firewood is included for two fires! If you want to light more in the fireplace, there is firewood to buy on site, price per fire. There is a lot to experience in Dalsland. Here nature is untouched and the experiences are genuine, such as hiking, cycling and paddling. Visit Dalsland's five municipalities Mellerud, Färgelanda, Dals-Ed, Bengtfors and Åmål. You can get to each municipality in less than an hour by car. There are many places that are worth a visit. The aqueduct in Håverud, which is one of Dalsland's most visited sights, where the railway, waterway and country road meet. There is also Dalsland's Canal Museum, and a cozy restaurant Håfveruds rökeri & Brasseri, where delicious dishes are on the menu. A visit to Dasland's Activities (Daslands Aktiviteter) is a must, it is one of Europe's largest facilities when it comes to experiences and adventures out in the woods and country side. There is also a reputable restaurant and a cozy cafe that always uses local ingredients. Baldersnärs manor in Dals-Långed is located on a green peninsula in Laxsjön, here you will find restaurant Öjentorp's kitchen which has genuine food in a genuine environment. Take a boat trip with Dalslands Kanal, why not hop on the boat in Bengtsfors that takes you down to the Aqueduct in Håverud and then take the rail bus back to the departure point. In Bengtsfors you will find Rosellmagasinet which is a cozy restaurant located right next to the water. In Fengerfors you will find “Not Quite”, which is a well-visited destination where you can experience art and culture. In the vicinity of your cottage you have the nature reserve Kroppefjäll where there are nice hiking trails and the opportunity for guided tours.
