Our parking area is directly in front of the house. Please do not block or park in front of our neighbors. We also have a small front yard, partially fenced. The parking area is gravel, and the Front Yard path is paved. | BEACH ACCESS | This home is located directly on Sunlight Beach overlooking Useless Bay. We share our beach access with the neighbors to the left, so please be respectful. The beach access consists of 5 large stone steps followed by a step down onto the beach. Please note that there is often driftwood at the bottom, and that conditions can change depending on the tides. Please use with caution. | SPLIT-LEVEL HOME | This house has many unique and original features; stain glass windows, original lighting, the brick fireplace - and its Split-Level layout. | ENTRY LEVEL | This is where you will enter the home using the key located in the lockbox. Located on this floor are One Queen bedroom, One Bunkbed room, and the Shower/Tub Combo Bathroom as well as the Laundry area. From the Entry Level you can access both the Main Floor and Basement, only a half-flight of stairs up or down. | MAIN LEVEL | This is the heart of the home, and where guests typically spend most of their time. You can access the Top Level, Entry Level, and Deck/Beach from here. Includes the Kitchen, Dining Table, and Living Room. | TOP LEVEL | Includes two bedrooms: One King and One Queen. They are connected by a short landing where you can access the Shower Bathroom or look down to the Main Level from. This is a private single family home. We are managed by a small, local management company that is located just a couple of miles away from the house. We will not bother you during your stay, but we are available 24x7 and will respond very quickly to any needs that you have. The Sunlight Beach community is a really special place. Many of the homes are occupied by families that have been here for several generations. It is a very friendly beach community that you will feel a part of right away. There is a grocery store about a mile or so up the street and you are only about 10 minutes from both Langley and Freeland. We are located on Whidbey Island, which is accessible in 3 ways: *Mukilteo / Clinton Ferry. 15 minute drive to the house. * Port Townsend / Coupeville Ferry. 35 minute drive to the house. *Deception Pass bridge from the north. 1 hour drive to the house. Whidbey is a rural area, so a car will be necessary for getting from town to town.
