As comfortable and well equipped as the interior of this Villa is, it is the outside space which really singles it out. On the edge of a scattering of select Villas, privacy is secured by natural rock faces, gardens and open hillsides on two aspects so that the gardens really feel as though they are in a world set apart with mature plantings with paths, terraces and little sitting areas all blessed with a picture book view framed by the sea. In the foreground are olive groves, hillsides and the white and pastel coloured walls and church tower of the Village of Upper Stalos, which is, incidentally within walking distance for those who are fit enough to take on the 1 km hilly walk. Location On the edge of a scattering of select Villas, it is just 1km from the village of Upper Stalos where there area a couple of traditional tavernas offering exceptional local cooking. The closest beach of Stalos, long and sandy, is less than five minutes away by car. Chania, whose twinkling lights reveal themselves on the night scene, is approximately 15 minutes drive. Great location to get to the coastline but come away to the hillside villa to enjoy the views and peaceful surroundings. Outside Villa Clio Swimming Pool - free form tiled pool (1m to 1.6m deep) which has 'chemical free' natural filtration is supplemented by two smaller children’s pools, from which water spills over into the main pool. Please note that small children will need to be supervised at all times in the smaller pools and older children must not jump or dive from one pool to another owing to the shallow depths. Sea View Pool Terrace - tiled sun terrace with sunbeds and umbrellas Covered Terrace - dining table and chairs, overhead fan. Sea View Garden Terrace - chairs and table. Garden - pretty garden with paths between flower beds, built-in BBQ, table and bench seating. Small grassy area with shade. Sea View First Floor Balcony - table and chairs. Inside Villa Clio Ground Floor Sitting Area - Curved built-in sofa, open fireplace and TV with satellite (limited channels/news only), DVD player, French doors to terrace and French doors to covered dining terrace. Kitchen Area - Fully equipped with loads of crockery and utensils, dishwasher, espresso maker (Nespresso original capsules), full sized electric oven with 4 hobs, microwave and large fridge freezer. Twin Bedroom - 2 single beds, wardrobe, desk, window to garden and French doors to covered terrace. Air con unit. Shower room - Shower cubicle, hand basin, WC and washing machine. First Floor Double Bedroom - 1 double bed, wardrobe, desk and French doors to shared sea view terrace. Air con unit. En suite shower cubicle, hand basin and WC. Twin Bedroom - 2 single beds (that can be made as a double bed) French doors to shared sea view terrace. Air con unit. En suite bathroom with corner bath and shower attachment, hand basin and WC. Housekeeping Your villa will be prepared for you on arrival with a set of fresh bath and hand towels and all beds made up. For stays of 7 nights or more - additional house towels are provided for a change mid-stay. For stays of 14 nights or more - additional bed linen is also provided for a change mid-stay. Pool/beach towels - one per person for the duration of your stay. Parking - There is space for parking next to the villa.
