Guest access This is a whole house rental, access to BBQ, laundry, garage, yards, and entire house. The owner's closet is locked and off limits. Other things to note El Dorado County area of South Tahoe collects 14% rental tax on all rents collected for vacation homes, so we will collect 14% tax on all reservations, payable through Airbnb at time of booking. In addition El Dorado County requires all guests to sign a rental agreement that we will email after booking is confirmed which includes providing your phone number as well as a copy of your ID. Surveillance camera are used outside of the premises only to protect guests and host's property. The minimum age to rent our home is 24 years old with valid ID. Additional Charges will be added for any additional guests who come without prior approval or who bring pets. Stays over 2 weeks will have an additional cleaning fee, collected after booking for bi-monthly cleanings. We recommend that guests purchase travel insurance for any unforeseen need to cancel, including but not limited to weather, air quality, road conditions, illness, or any other factor. You can look up travel insurance or purchase through airbnb. The driveway slopes and can be slippery in the winter. We provide garage access and wheel chocks to use if parking in the driveway. We are not responsible for any damage to property or vehicles if sliding occurs. Please use wheel chocks, parking break and/or garage access. While the neighborhood is residential, guests are responsible for securing their own vehicles at all times. Please ensure cars are locked and no valuables are left inside. The host is not responsible for loss, damage, or theft of vehicles or personal property. If any rules are broken, (for example, smoking in the home, extra guests, pets, parties, noise complaints, etc) it is considered a breach of contract and you forfeit your deposit of $500, paid out through the resolution department. Additionally damage will be charged as per the amount to resolve the damage.
