Guest suite in Benton Harbor

If you are looking for a zen like place to get away for a few days, the Gingerbread House is perfect. Guests have separate and private apartment (with Smart Lock) on bottom floor of (occupied) home with private patio overlooking huge ravine. Our home is surrounded by over 20 acres of woods, yet we are only minutes from grocery, restaurants, golfing and beaches. The space This private apartment has: one bedroom, modern bathroom, kitchenette, living room, heat, air conditioning, furnished patio overlooking wooded ravine, private coded entrance, indoor gas fireplace and space to park. All completely private space. (Please take a look at the pictures. There are stone steps down to the apartment entrance. These steps have a railing to hang on to, but I want all guests to be aware that they will have to navigate these steps to get to the apartment. Inside the apartment, there are no stairs.) Guest access You have the lower level apartment and patio to yourselves. You may feel free to walk the grounds, but suggest you stay on the path. Other things to note Though the guest suite has private entrance and is totally private to you, it is the lower level of the home. Our home is a 100 years old, so there will be sounds from above. We stock the kitchenette with eggs, cereal, and almond milk. The apartment has an induction stove top, but NOT AN OVEN. There is a toaster oven available with the kitchen supplies. We do not allow animals in the apartment. We are dog lovers and have two dogs (which you may see and hear) but we keep the apartment animal free for family members and guests with allergies. We ask that you respect that. * Our listing says we have some beach equipment. We supply towels, a beach umbrella, and beach chairs.
