Beautiful Waterfront Cottage on the Big Rideau

Enjoy your getaway on the prestigious Big Rideau Lake, the largest lake in the Rideau Canal System, a UNESCO designated site. We are located in Portland On. We are walking distance to Len’s Cove Marina. This is very convenient to rent a boat, launch your own in the public boat launch or go for lunch or dinner at their licensed Galley Restaurant. Our cottage has heat and air conditioning. We can communicate in French and English. The space This beautiful cottage is ideal for two couples or a couple with two children. You will enjoy beautiful breezes from the four patio doors. The cottage is very comfortable and well appointed. Bed linens, bath towels, beach towels, kitchen linens are all provided. We have stocked spices, coffee, tea, and condiments to get you started. Why not work from here? There is a reliable Wifi. It is beautiful and relaxing. Our cottage is located an hour from the Ogdensburg Bridge and the Thousand Island Bridge. We are 3.5 hour from Toronto, 3 hours from Montreal, an hour from Ottawa and less than an hour from Kingston. This cottage has a king size bed in the main bedroom and two twin beds in the second bedroom. It has one full bathroom, a large fully equipped kitchen including fridge, stove, microwave, coffee maker, BBQ, etc. We offer free Wifi, Canoe and oars , life vest , and a firepit. Other things to note Our property is small. Too small to drive in with a boat trailer as it is too difficult to turn around and the laneway is tight. You can secure a docking slip with Lens Cove Marina with advance booking. The water level drops in July making it difficult to leave a boat on our dock. Great for day drop in, but not overnight.
