Discover FRIZ, a charming holiday accommodation in a converted, 200-year-old barn on the outskirts of Freiburg, in the heart of the town center of Gundelfingen. This lovingly restored barn houses 7 individually designed apartments of various sizes. Here, traditional rural elements meet modernity and timeless design classics. FRIZ is not just a place to stay, but a special experience for special people. The space Discover the FRIZ Loft – a real gem for design enthusiasts! Our open and light-filled loft apartment offers space for two people on a spacious 50 sqm. The cozy sleeping area is accessible via three steps, and the large windows provide a fantastic view of our garden. Get comfortable in our original Eames Lounge Chairs and enjoy a break from everyday life. And if you feel like having company: Our large dining table has room for friends and family. With us, you truly feel at home – or maybe even a bit better? In the cozy living area, you will find a well-equipped kitchen. We provide organic coffee capsules for the coffee machine, as well as salt, pepper, vinegar, and oil. The spacious bathroom features a walk-in shower, sink, toilet, hairdryer, towels, and high-quality cosmetics. Each of our apartments is individually designed by us and furnished with many design classics and artworks. Many pieces of furniture are unique or rare, and are occasionally replaced, giving our apartments a fresh look from time to time. In the shared garden, you'll find lounge chairs, tables, and chairs, where guests often mingle and make new acquaintances. Included services: Bedding, towels, kitchen towels, organic coffee capsules, organic tea, sugar, vinegar & oil, dishwashing utensils, WiFi, Netflix, final cleaning. Upon request and subject to availability, we provide a free baby cot and high chair. All our apartments are non-smoking (please also no e-cigarettes). Pets are not allowed. Guest access In the FRIZ Lounge, you’ll find our diverse collection of art and design objects, which are also available for purchase. The Lounge can additionally be booked for small events, meetings, workshops, or seminars – just get in touch with us. Our garden is available to all guests. Here the children can play while the parents enjoy a nice glass of wine from the region. Not infrequently new acquaintances arise with the other guests, because one is among like-minded people. For those who stay longer there is a washing machine and dryer in the laundry room. Other things to note We want you to feel right at home in our apartments! That's why we place great emphasis on coziness, functionality, and upscale amenities with that special touch. In our apartments, you'll only find originals – be it art, design objects, toys, or even the soap in the bathroom.
